Thanks dctoe, that's what I was missing, editing both files. When I edited the "farms" xml, I had forgotten I had already edited the "careersavegame" xml so it worked on game 1. When you said edit both, well, that works every time. Thanks to both you and ShagSpastic. Grateful to you both. Cheers.

Just for clarification to those who are editing their savegames. You must edit the careerSavegame.xml and the farm.xml to the same number for it to work. So if you enter 15399000 in one file, you must enter the same in the farm.xml file before the decimal and zeros. DO NOT mess with the decimal and zeros. Leave them just as they are and enter your number to the left of the decimal. Save both, start your game and access your save. The money should show up in the save and in the game if you have done it right.

ShagSpastic, it didn' work. Are you accessing it from some where other than "my documents" - - "my games" -- "FS 19" - - "savegame 1" - - "farms" ?
