Description
This is a 8.1L 496 cubic inch V8 built to the specifications of GM's Vortec 8100 from 2001-2010. It works in all cars included with BeamNG.drive and uses the same models and accessories as the 6.9L V8 included with BeamNG, except for some vehicle-to-vehicle changes.

Known Issues
- Certain parts such as superchargers may make the engine stay at the redline for extended periods of time before shifting. This can be fixed with gear ratio tuning, using a sport or race ecu to raise the redline, or applying less throttle.
- Transmission tuning is adjustable to allow for custom setups.
- Some vehicles do not have properly attached parts such as exhaust models.
- The Cherrier FCV may report Oil Starvation upon first spawn, which usually disappears after a vehicle reset.
- The Cherrier FCV front suspension will collapse above roughly 25 MPH if adaptive coilovers are used. Remove Driving and Safety Electronics or use Non-adaptive coilovers (race or rally) to fix this.
