mod is inspired by the famous El Camino and other similar cars.
Attention! The mod is coming as 24 new configurations for the Gavril Bluebuck stock car!
The idea of a utility vehicle based on a passenger car originated in Australia in 1934 with the introduction of the Model A, with a two-door body and pallet configuration. It was Australia's second invention after Vegemite in 1923.
One can only imagine how upset the Australians were. America, too eager to crush or appropriate other cultures, has stolen another idea. Of course, this irritation did not leave the Southern Hemisphere, and two years later Chevrolet also began selling a truck based on a passenger car. According to the Australians, "even a bloody name sounds appropriate!" Completely oblivious to this, Americans began to drive cars called "El Camino" while encouraging Native Americans to speak English.
Cultural issues aside, the El Camino and Ranchero were beautiful cars (well, the El Camino was until it looked like a stoned crocodile slipper), and I noticed the lack of 60s factory cars in BeamNG. So I decided to carve up the blue goat, and here it is.
Every engine and trim line now has a "ute" option available in both automatic and manual transmissions, with slightly stiffer suspension components than their passenger car counterparts.
The 423 CUI big block V8 comes with a few more options, most notably "sport" and "luxury" trims. The sportier of the two is based on the V8 Sport, while the luxurious one is based on the V8 Marshal. The Marshal comes with some eye-catching features such as faux wood paneling and lacquered wood padding for the bed.
