Hi and welcome to probably the most insanely detailed Automation mod you've ever seen! It's the Catalani Motor Group (CMG) Venezia Stradale!

Before I get into the lore and technical specifications of the vehicle, I want to also share its backstory with you! Basically, about two weeks ago I made a Reddit post (https://www.reddit.com/r/automationgame/comments/1mcp73j/comment/n6c7p7l/?context=3) where I invited people to give me their old or terrible Automation creations, so I could then give them a complete makeover. Well, one person gave me this unique sportscar from the 1970s, and it obviously peeked my interest the second I saw it.

Original Venezia honestly didn't look that bad either!

It was just... not that detailed. (also, what are those taillights?!?)
Out with the old, in with the new.

Unfortunately, I had to recreate the entire car in Automation, piece by piece. It was hard work, but I did finish it eventually. The hardest part though was making the 52 configurations work properly. A nightmare, you could say.
// Lore:

CMG was just starting out when they designed and produced the Venezia. Only there was a small problem: Italy and its neighboring countries had been oversaturated with sportscars and exotics for a while now. So instead, CMG chose to export the Venezia to a market no one would expect: the US. Advertised as being the 'Pantera killer', Venezia quickly became a legendary car amongst the masses, heavily boosting sales and cementing CMG as a trustful brand.
// Mod overlook:
Yes, you read that right! This mod contains 52 different configurations of the Venezia. You can choose from every single color in and out of the rainbow.

This car has a lot of features that you don't really see on other Automation creations: realistic JBeam structure (it crumbles and cracks realistically), breakable fuel tank (you can start fires with it if you hit it hard enough!), working mirrors, steering wheel, pedals, manual shifter, headlight and indicator levers on the steering column, retro speedometer and tachometer, vintage radio, ignition key and, most importantly, POP-UP HEADLIGHTS!!!

Incredible 1975-1981 CMG Venezia Stradale Mod for BeamNG Drive
The 1975-1981 CMG Venezia Stradale mod is a remarkable addition to BeamNG Drive, offering a nostalgic trip back to the golden age of Italian sports cars. With an impressive 52 configurations, this mod provides endless customization options, making it a must-have for car enthusiasts.
Driving the Venezia Stradale is a unique experience that captures the charm and character of classic sports cars. Each configuration allows players to explore different performance levels and styles, from the more docile options to the powerful, race-ready setups. The mod showcases a well-balanced mix of agility and power, making it enjoyable on both city streets and winding country roads.
The sound design is spot-on, delivering the classic engine growl that you’d expect from a vintage sports car. The handling is responsive, with a nostalgic feel that pays homage to the driving dynamics of the era. You’ll appreciate the attention to detail in the suspension and steering, which add to the overall driving experience.
@Axl Rose thank you for your honest review! The only thing I wish I could've improved in the interior was to make the manual stick shift animation smooth, so it wouldn't just jump to the next gear (visually speaking).
