The Cherrier Tango was produced from 1992 to 1996 alongside the Cherrier Picnic, selling around 30,000 units in total before being discontinued due to the greater popularity of the Picnic. All Tango models came with a 1.2-litre or 1.4-litre 4-cylinder MPFI engine producing 64 PS/100 Nm and 89 PS/118 Nm respectively.
