Description
In the late 1990s, Gavril planned to introduce the Sedona trim, an ultra-luxury package designed to become the highest-end version of the D-Series lineup. It featured a premium updated interior and a unique upscale quad-headlight front fascia. The project was canceled after major changes to federal fuel efficiency regulations, which forced Gavril to redesign the D-Series with a more aerodynamic front end (the smoother late-model facelift produced from 1998 to 2003).

After the Sedona design was shelved, Gavril reused the unique quad-headlight fascia for the H-Series van lineup. Only six fully functional factory prototypes of the D-Series Sedona were ever built, becoming hidden gems of Gavril history.

The "Sedona trim" is inspired by the real-life "Silverado trim" from the GMT400 era.
