Peugeot's futuristic Quasar concept car featured bold styling and a 600-horsepower turbocharged engine borrowed from the 205 Turbo 16. It exemplified the innovation of the 1980s, but was never mass-produced.
Peugeot Quasar 1984 v2.0.
- Engine: 1.8-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder taken from the Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 rally car, producing about 600 horsepower. Positioned in the middle.
- Transmission: 5-speed manual gearbox, also taken from the 205 T16 rally version.
- Full medium quality jbeam.
- New lights.
- Animated pedals.
- 4 configurations (road, basic, track, extreme).
- The dashboard screen is not animated as on the original concept car.
