In the mid-90s, Ibishu was struggling with Pigeon sales in certain regions. In response, they released the Tuk Tuk Pigeon, equipped with all the base model features, but with an open cabin. Some of its parts are made from factory Pigeon accessories that sold poorly and were left in high stock, including the bed cover, which is welded to the roof.

This open-air design helps reduce fuel consumption by lowering vehicle weight and removes the need for AC. The total curb weight is around 619 kg (1365 lb).
