This is the Burnside from Rigs of Rods. I began working on this project in late 2021/early 2022 as part of an initiative to bring over some content from RoR, mostly maps. While far from perfect, I figure it's finally 'good enough' to do a forum release. Unlike most other ports from this game, I wanted to keep this as close to the original as possible:
Using the frame and drivetrain from the Moonhawk as a base, I've managed to bring over the original body N/B structure along with the coupe, convertible, wagon, and limousine body styles. There's also a special pickup version, created in 2013 by Charger. The pickup wasn't part of the original pack.

Three months ago, I made a post on r/BeamNG showcasing the Burnside. Initially wasn't planning on releasing this as I assumed acquiring permission from gabester would've been impossible. That changed when a few kind folks there seemingly confirmed he's fine with this, hence this thread's creation:
Since I don't have a direct quote from him, I'll have to take their word for it

Credits
- gabester - The Burnside itself
- BeamNG team - Moonhawk frame/engine/drivetrain
- Charger - Pickup version, rear bumper plate
- CuriousMike (myself) - BeamNG port
- Lack of PBR materials. I wasn't able to get them working correctly. You can find my attempt in the newtex folder.
- 'Jagged edges' visible when looking up close in some areas, mostly around the back window area. This is a result of my lack of experience with textures (and modding BeamNG in general lol). So far nothing I've tried has improved this.
- As expected, Deformation isn't up to standard compared to official vehicles.
- Police and Taxi liveries are only compatible with the sedan variant.
- Pickup version's back fenders use a different UV map.
- Bunch of other small things not listed here.

Is there a thread on the Beamng site for this?
@Forums yes, this is an upload without permission
YES, THIS IS THE EXACT THING I WAS HOPING TO SEE, A ROR CAR MADE AS A BEAMNG MOD
@Richard Brooks download it from the forums to support the original creator, this is a reupload without permission
The only two donwsides that I see in the looks, are the deformation and lights' texture. But the shape of the body and diffrent variants (such as sedan, station wagon, convertible, pickup, limo) are a good point in this mod. Fixing them would take this mod to a whole new level but as a conclusion, consider this mod. not bad.
