Roud highlander is an excellent example of a Pony Car from Eastern Europe in the early 1970s. The prototype received a recognizable appearance resembling an American sports car of those times (Muscle car). But somewhat reduced in size, and having the basic stuffing of a production car of those times. Under the hood is a 2.8 l V6 with a capacity of 144 hp, which is actually not so small for the basic configuration.
It has:
- Rear-wheel drive;
- Three-stage automatic;
- Open bridge;
- Independent lever suspension;
- Disc brakes;
- Basic interior.
According to the dynamic characteristics for the 70s, the car can still be called sporty. 0-100 in less than 10 seconds. The maximum speed is 200 km/h.
