Theo’s Covet Gambler!
Background
A guy from the UK in Utah, (creatively named) Theo decided he wanted to participate in the Gambler. Over a year or so he used his decent metalworking and CAD skills to use a few bits of sheet and bar steel, creating a pickup out of a used- albeit relatively well kept- Ibishu Covet 1.5 DX. He then used that pickup as a base for a fully fledged offroader: Any spare budget was used on some nice lights, safety features and bits of kit, and he made sure everything was as replaceable and repairable as he possibly could. During the build, a huge amount of focus was given to making sure it was still bearable to drive on the road, and making sure it was road legal.
This all resulted in a fairly utilitarian absolute tank of a Covet, which can be seen in detail below.
Key Features
I have put this in a spoiler to not create a mile-long mod page.
