The Cherrier Monaco is a Cherrier FCV Vivace based convertible.

The model MONACO shares design features with VIVACE but its not built on the platform. This car started its life just a year after VIVACE and TOGRAC went on sale, firstly it was a limited run of 200 units to see if people would buy it. After all the units sold, people still wanted them so the MONACO entered mass production, until today there have been 30 thousand confirmed MONACOs built. There is a special aftermarket production of MONACOs that is being done by ITC (Italian Tuning Company), they took 100 production Monaco S units and modified them, they also do custom ON ORDER builds where they take a Vivace and rebuild it to a Monaco under the name GrandTurismo Monaco.
