Black River, Michigan

Black River, Michigan is a recreation of the iconic SnowRunner map for BeamNG.drive. The project recreates the original layout, terrain scale, elevation changes, water crossings, mud sections, forests, and slow off-road atmosphere using custom BeamNG.drive systems and assets. No direct SnowRunner meshes or textures are used.

The map features:

– Full 1:1 scale Black River terrain built on a 4096×4096 heightmap (approximately 4 km²)
– Driveable roads across the entire map
– 95% of rivers, lakes, ponds, swamps, and water crossings recreated
– Functional mud system with realistic depth
– Large amount of environmental detail using BeamNG.drive assets (around 900,000 objects)
– Dense forests and detailed natural scenery
– Fully playable and accessible environment closely matching the original Black River atmosphere
