What’s up everyone 👋

I wanted to share what I’ve been working on lately because this project turned into something way bigger than I originally planned. I’ve been building a brand-new desert map and it’s officially ready for you guys to try.

This one ended up being a full 35-mile endurance course. I originally just wanted to make a fun desert layout, but once I started shaping terrain and testing race flow, I kept finding ways to make sections more technical and challenging. It slowly evolved into one of the most demanding tracks I’ve built so far.

There are long high-speed desert stretches, but there are also some pretty brutal technical areas that will definitely test suspension setups and throttle control. And yes… there are whoops. A lot of them. Probably more than I should have added, but they feel awesome once you find the rhythm.

I also spent a lot more time this build focusing on immersion and race atmosphere. I added a full race pit/staging area, support vehicles, race props, and built a new gas station area to make the map feel more like a real desert event location instead of just open terrain.

Most of my testing has been done with BORCS-style racing in mind, but it’s also really fun for just cruising, testing builds, or running endurance sessions with friends.

Honestly, projects like this take a ton of time between terrain work, prop placement, testing, reworking sections, and making sure it actually races well. Your support here is what lets me keep putting this level of effort into maps and events, and I genuinely appreciate it more than you probably realize.

I’ve already got ideas for updates, layout expansions, and future race events that will use this map, so this definitely isn’t the final version.

I’m really excited to see what you guys think of it and what kind of chaos you create out there 😂
