Description
This is a recreation of the "Black River, Michigan" map from the game SnowRunner for BeamNG.drive. The project transfers the layout, scale, landform, water hazards, dirt, forests and the feel of a slow-moving off-road using BeamNG.drive's own systems and assets. Direct SnowRunner meshes and textures are not used.
Features
- Full 1:1 scale Black River terrain on a 4096×4096 (～4 km²) elevation map
- Passable roads throughout the map
- 95% of rivers, lakes, ponds, swamps and water crossings
- Working mud model with real depth
- Numerous environmental objects from BeamNG.drive assets (approx. 900,000)
- Dense forests and detailed natural environments
The map is fully traversable and playable. The environment is as close as possible to the original Black River.
