Beta v1.0.2 Released
Metropolitan + Nihon Turismo + Community Maps
On One Freeroam Map!

Hello everyone, Project: Japan is a bunch of none BeamNG Terrain (DAE) type maps all put together into one giant free roam Tokyo Japan Expressway Network plus the Mountain Pass Roads attached to and accessible by driving to them inspired By maps from games like Tokyo Xtreme Racer,Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift and The Crew . I did not make any of these maps except the old version of Ihroahaza Uphill (Nikko). I did however, connect the 3 main arteries at Daikoku, resized things and just general aligments trough out the entire map. i have also opened up some exits and they have connections. 1 at the rt3 merge from C1 to Rt3, you can get to rt 4 and 5 trough rt3 because rt 4 and 5 still dont have a on ramp from C1, that will be in next update., one at Mirai to Naruto far west exit to the mountains, and one on the Wangan to get to Oi-WharF. I removed them annoying speed bumps that eat your tires at the Daikoku entrance from the circle. FPS can dip in a couple of places, this will be fixed in future releases. i have added missing things like lakes and ponds in certain places of the Metro that where missing. very minimal sacrifice had to be made in order to achieve this Titan map. some new Path connection patches had to be made. Some models had to be cut and fixed. Few connections of the intended map have not been properly connected yet but can be reachable only accessible trough route 3, until update. Despite this, all places except Nagoya are reachable. Traffic in the Nihon side of things will be ready at another future update along side fixes, lighting and optimization. There is still alpha trees and objects also textures that need to be worked on. There is missing buildings and some geometry these are very minimal and had to be done. I will replace some of them in a future patch update. I am planning future updates with more things added ones i get past the important stuff but the way it is still very big. It is easy to get lost. I like it XD.
At the moment is in Beta because you can actually drive if you know the way, to every area even if they are rough with very very minimal missing textures. In the folders there are other hidden addons, these are addons i am working for a future release that is why they are hidden.
Credit goes to all creators that made such amazing pieces of art. This map aims at recreating Japan Network inside Beamng to expand on the Metropolitan Map by merging the 2 Titans Metropolitan Expressway Map and Hinon Map from Asseto Corsa mod and also adding even more maps on top of that. Another aspect here is i tried as much as i could to keep things where they are in real life but understand that even with my knowledge there where immense obstacle and some of these could only be patched or worked around on. I have tried my best to optimize the map to have minimal if any lag at all but of course it is a very ambitious project so expect resistance here and there on lower spec pc's. There is some uap bugs floating. i will take care of them in future updates, should not ruin the driving experience for most. I am very pleased as how it is coming together and have lots of fun testing. This mod was created by the community for the community and put together by me. Hundred's of hours and research have gone into this project. The game at loading says is 210 kilometers but in reality as it stands it is more like 300 to 400.
long, i believe it to be more like a total of 300 to 400 kilometers of road. The map will take a few minutes the first time you load it but loads for me in a minute and nine seconds after a clean start every time. In the future i mite also be replacing maps with better versions of said map.

Thinking Far Out:
I may look into learning how to work with lua and start programing some kind of lua script to make SP battles, if so it would not be till a final update and if not then maybe some else can step up to the plate and help me program this since i have no idea what i am doing lol. Also, C2 Expressway would be sweet to add, ( there is a rare map mod out there can't remember who made it but i remember it been not optimized and no traffic no night time but the entire highway was there. and i think i have a copy in one of my older computers have to check, this one very hard to find but it would be cool to connect the C2 and finish that entire side of The C1 South. If anyone knows what i am talking about please link me to the map.
NOTE!
1-You will need a decent PC with at least like 32 gigs of RAM for this one on Ultra+Traffic for a nice 60 locked fps. If you have a spaceship then that's ok too.
2-Demonstration video Is on Ultra no traffic.
3-Nagoya is on the map but it is not yet accessible! This will be fixed on the next update release.
4-Only day time version, night time and touch up is currently been worked on for the Hinon side, will be released in a future update.
5-Expect glitches
6-Some roads have been altered and patched with Beamng editor's mesh roads, these will be getting a huge overhaul they are just place holders, some lines on the floor are place holders, it is normal for this release.
7-Big piece of mountain missing from turnpike mesh, it was done on purpose, it is normal so i could fit Nagoya properly in place.
8-missing textures in a few places it is normal for this release.
9-Odawara section eats cars on harpin center line only, will be fixed in next patch, just drive in lane for now trough there.
10-Some wet texture roads materials from the Metro map in game app mod itself do not work correctly, dry is fine. I will attempt to troubleshoot and fix this in the future.
11- If you find anything else from the new additions that i did not mention, please post the issue with a picture and i will add it to the list of troubleshooting things i have to still fix. Just make sure it really has not been mentioned to avoid delays.
12- Kanazawa buildings temporary disabled. Some of its guardrails are also missing textures until next release, textures are not there yet for that region in the far back..

Install instructions:
1- Download my map ( This map is a beast, after extraction even semi optimized its a whooping 17.9 gigs
2- Turn off all your mods
3- Clear cache
4- Copy my map file you downloaded to your mods folder
5- Extract everything here, yes you suppose to have 3 folders all together in the same unpacked directory, if not, it will not even show up at the map select menu..
(Optional)5-B- Delete file you downloaded to clear space
6- Load the map, Note: (This map will take between 3 to 5 minutes to load the very first time on a decent setup) after that for me on SSD takes 1 minute 9 seconds every time.

@BigDan96 the file was posted not by me, but by the author of the mod. I'm just sharing the assembly I found.
Thats a huge map, which, I think, needs an serious update from devs to optimize map loading...Hope iyou will take it to the final version!best wishes!
