River Highway — a massive open-world map for BeamNG designed for high-speed cruising, off-road exploration, aviation, and large-scale roleplay. This map combines diverse terrain, long-distance highways, and detailed infrastructure, offering players an expansive environment to explore. Version 4.10 introduces major improvements, making the world more realistic, functional, and performance-friendly.

New in version 4.10:
– Reworked railway system, now fully functional for trains; surrounding regions have been reshaped for smoother terrain and realistic alignment
– Partial replacement of the central town, with plans for a complete overhaul in future updates; nearby roads have been redesigned into a more grid-like structure, reducing the number of railroad crossings
– Replacement of many outdated or non-standard models with higher-quality versions; bridges in particular have been significantly upgraded
– New power line networks added throughout the map, enhancing realism and environmental detail

Main features:
– Over 200 km / 125 miles of roads, including highways, rural roads, and scenic routes stretching across the entire map
– A wide, winding river with a dam at its source, adding depth and environmental variety
– A large airport featuring a 2.1 km / 1.3 mile runway, capable of handling all currently available aircraft mods — including the An-12
– Various structures and landmarks such as wind turbines, radio towers, water towers, factories, and industrial zones
– A central city and multiple small towns, offering diverse driving environments
– Numerous dirt roads, ideal for rallying, off-roading, and exploration
– A full railway loop (Note: still incomplete and may function incorrectly — trains may derail easily on tight corners)

Additional notes:
– AI traffic is supported, but issues may occur in certain areas, especially at intersections
– Performance warning: this is a large and complex map; stability and framerate may vary depending on your hardware
– Lighting is configured only for daytime, as full lighting adjustments for night have not yet been completed
