The main competition takes place along the Spiral of Destiny, which begins with a 12-lane race downhill on smooth asphalt, squeezed into 6 lanes of a gradually deteriorating road. From here, things only get worse when the road turns into 3 strips of dirt with hills and stones. Finally, drivers must climb into a large crater known simply as the Pit.
When drivers are not competing, they can explore a variety of cross-country trails that include rocky stretches, narrow canyons, and coastal trails.
