In version 4.16 (23.04.25):
Corrections:
- Reflections became less blue
- The map is launched at the correct time of day
- The cycle of the day is now 48 minutes
- Various texture fixes
- Trackmesh texture updated for better FPS
- Updated descriptions and thumbnails for custom configurations
Updates:
- Completely reworked track grid with correct split into multiple assets and effective LOD objects, as well as reworked visuals for the appearance.
- Added the edge of the track so that the track no longer floats. Also significantly reduced the number of "spike"
- A new medical center was added immediately after the first turn of the race track
- New "ATV" configuration added for Wigeon
A very diverse and large, but realistic map, which has almost everything you want.
The main focus of the map is on a race track called Xero Speedring with 5 different layouts (full, Grand Prix, short, full classic, short classic). This track was built in the 1980s after the local airport was closed and a lot of land became available for use and could be bought cheaply. As a result, the track has some fairly long straights, as well as some street-type aspects as you approach the warehouses in the far corner of the track.
On the map:
– 62 missions, including several "careers", from time trials to car chases, collections, races with artificial intelligence and everything in between.
– The race track is 3.17 miles long and takes about two and a half minutes in the K-spec GTIV series.
- Sand dunes. In the very south of the map along the ocean coast you will find massive sand dunes with giant jumps from dune to dune. To the northeast of the large open dunes are several wooded dunes similar to those on the Oregon coast. In these dunes there are 50-100 trails winding between the trees.
– 5 smaller racing tracks. In addition to the larger full-size track, the Xero Parklands Motorsport Campusall campus and its surroundings are scattered with smaller tracks on which artificial intelligence works both in missions and in free movement.
– A drift track, as well as 3 more drift zones, 2 driving schools, and a mountain for drifting.
- Off-road. For those who like a more relaxed and slow ride on beaten roads, there are two trial trails on this map: one goes almost from corner to corner and passes through two different mountains, and the other goes up a very steep hill slope, turning back to the watchtower. There is also a full-fledged off-road park on the territory of the race track, where you can test your jeeps and trucks with many RC Crawler-style obstacles, such as a log bridge and climbing stairs. And don't forget the giant mud bog with very deep mud pits up to 6 feet deep in several places.
Other card chips:
- A sawmill with an improvised racing track inside;
- Pier and shipyard;
- Dirt roads for the rally;
- A full-fledged mountain, ideally suited for climbers;
- A highway and a two-lane road with a hard surface go around the map in a circle;
- City and surroundings;
- Rally school with asphalt and dirt tracks;
- Driving school with autocross and road course;
- Several Easter eggs that are worth looking for;
- 1/8 mile strip;
- 2 "player's houses" intended for entertainment and modification of your cars;
- 3 gas stations (not working yet);
- A bunch of configs that are used in Ai races and other similar missions.

Please excuse me for possibly asking a stupid question(I haven't been playing Beam for long:-)Is it possible to somehow fix the problem with some textures that don't load? Clearing the cache doesn't help:- (new computer and video card:-)This problem exists with old mods. I really like this mod, but the lack of textures is a bit annoying:-)Thanks for any information!
