Hirochi Outlaw v5.30
Hirochi Outlaw — a lightweight and character-driven motorcycle mod for BeamNG, designed to deliver engaging two-wheel physics and a hands-on riding experience. With multiple configurations, detailed controls, and unique riding mechanics, this mod rewards skillful input and experimentation rather than arcade-style simplicity.
Main features:
– 10 configurations, covering different riding styles and use cases
– Good overall build quality with a focus on riding behavior
– Decent, nuanced motorcycle physics, requiring rider input and understanding
– Fully functional systems tailored for realistic motorcycle control
Control bindings (important):
– Cycle max lean angle (U) — cyclically switches the maximum lean angle and steering damping settings for different control schemes
– Photo mode (I) — switches the motorcycle into a parked state, ideal for screenshots
– Choke (O) — cycles manual choke settings on early models for cold starts (later models feature automatic choke)
– Rider tuck — an additional axis bindable to a controller joystick, allowing control over the rider’s forward/backward lean
Riding behavior and tips:
– Low-speed riding:
– At approximately 9–10 mph, the motorcycle can maintain speed with light throttle input
– When stabilized at this speed, the bike will counter-lean, allowing for very tight turns
– Be cautious when rolling off the throttle while leaned over, as dropping below this speed can result in a fall
– If the engine stalls or does not rev properly:
– Early models use manual choke, while later models include cold RPM limiting
– Use the choke binding to prevent cold stalling
– To remove cold RPM limits, enable individual ignition and set the cold limiter to 0 in the tuning menu
– If the rear becomes unstable or oscillates:
– Stabilize using engine braking (release throttle and downshift when possible)
– Alternatively, apply the rear brake (parking brake input)
– For persistent instability, install the race rear shock and fine-tune damping values to your preference
Version 5.30 updates:
– Added a modern, torque-focused 3-cylinder Hirochi engine, based on the Aurata engine, paired with a 6-speed gearbox
– Introduced the new Canyon Carver configuration, featuring:
– Under-tail exhaust layout
– Streamlined design optimized for smooth, twisty roads
– Added a new Scrambler configuration with:
– Increased ground clearance
– Crash bars
– Side-mounted exhaust
– Aggressive, rough-terrain tires capable of handling muddy and uneven trails
– Minor but noticeable stability improvements, especially for clip-on handlebars, making track-focused setups significantly more stable
– Adjusted engine cooling efficiency and realism:
– Air-cooled engines can now overheat if left idling for extended periods
– Cosmetic improvements:
– Ability to remove or change all decals
– All configurations now feature a new “Outlaw” decal on either the fairing or tail section
