Features
- Air-fuel ratios are calculated from engine operating conditions and the surrounding environment.
- Mechanical wear is simulated for the piston crown, rings, and cylinder wall based on combustion energy and other factors, with partial Career Mode support.
- Battery, alternator, and starter simulation is included.
- Fuel condensation is affected by engine block temperature, so cold engines run worse and waste more fuel.
- Any vehicle with a part in the Engine Management slot gets an active ECU that automatically adjusts fuel flow and timing based on AFR and forced induction.
- Heat is distributed based on AFR. Running lean sends more heat into the cylinders and pistons, while running rich moves more heat to the exhaust.
- Engine thermals have been reworked. Piston crown thermals are now implemented, and cylinder wall and piston mass are calculated from produced torque instead of engine block mass.
- Partial diesel support is included. Airflow is independent of throttle.
- Diesel runaway through oil leaks is supported with a rough estimation model.
- Partial nitrous support is included and is treated as extra air for now.
- A UI app is included for viewing engine data, mechanical repairs, and tuning options.

How to use
- Once installed, the mod should activate automatically on any vehicle that uses the default combustionEngine simulation.
- Any vehicle with an active ECU will automatically run with optimal fuel flow and timing. The ECU can also be disabled and manually tuned at any time if needed.
- Add any required UI apps for tuning, electrical work, or mechanical repairs.

Tips
- Engine wear builds up very slowly. Engines can last up to around 200,000 miles by default, so damage may not show right away. You can increase the wear multipliers in the UI app if needed.
- The Individual Part Repair Menu save and load feature now saves most engine conditions, including temperature, wear, and fluids, when used with this mod.
- In Career Mode, any new vehicle will receive pre-existing wear based on mileage and integrity. Vehicles bought without the mod installed will not get pre-existing wear.
