As the BeamNG developers continue to update the game, they have added extra parameters that each vehicle must possess if they are to appear in Career Mode. This tool allows you to update the info.json and configuration files for each .zip file found in your mods folder, so that they have all necessary values to allow them to appear in Showrooms in Career Mode. It is also useful as a general metadata editor for vehicle mods.
PLEASE NOTE: Older versions of this tool attempted to fix older mods which were otherwise incompatible with Career Mode. This functionality has been removed as it did not appear to work correctly. In most cases, the tool can only fix mods which previously appeared in Career Mode before the 0.38 update to the game.
This tool will be updated if the games vehicles require more parameters to appear in Career Mode in the future.
The creator of this program accepts no responsibility for the changes made to files. Users should always back up any mods they wish to edit before using this program.

worked for me but not to be able to buy the cars, i can only drive them in the delivery jobs but thats about it, super easy to use though...anything im doing wrong JohndogJenkins?
@Erick If the vehicles are showing up in delivery jobs, then they are working in career. If they are not appearing in showrooms, this may be due to their “population” value. Setting the value to 2000 or more will give the vehicle a good chance of appearing in the showroom rotation

Before I purchase, what does this mod do other then only fixing career mode? Since it is pretty simple to do it manually by editing .json files, please tell me why I should purchase this mod?
@Cyn This tool is useful for those that have a lot of mods, as updating all of these files could take hours. Its also useful for those who are not confortable with editing Json files
its not working and i followed the read me instructions
@hugo Note that the vehicle will not work immediately if the file is edited with this tool while the game is open. Restarting the game will allow it to read the updated file correctly. If this doesnt help, let me know what issue you are having and i'll do my best to help
Its not working for me, am i not supposed to unpack the car mod?
@not working Hi there is a Readme file included with the download which has instructions on how to use the program. If you are still having issues after consulting the instructions, please let me know and I will do what I can to help
As I use the tool this evening to update all of my own mods, I've noticed some issues to fix, but these generally occur with very old mods that may be fully incompatible with career. Even with the tool, I am still finding updating all the mods time consuming. Note that I am fixing any missing information and tweaking populations to my liking. For those who are not so picky as myself, I am considering a "Fix All" button on the main interface to brute force all mods. This wouldn't affect any populations or configurations, but add missing fields for all vehicles main info.json (any fields that have to be created would be set to "Unknown"). The Insurance Class parameter for all mods will be set to dailyDriver and their Regions to northAmerica as defaults. While your modded vehicles information wouldnt be correct ingame, this would allow you to quickly get all vehicles that were previously working, to appear once again in career showrooms.
