This is our new Dynamic Vehicle Dust system!

It procedurally generates dust onto any vehicle inside of BeamNG.Drive. The dust collects onto the car while driving, with driving behavior affecting how the dust appears.

A few examples of how dust can accumulate:

• Doing a burnout in the dust causes the rear of the car to get dusty

• Driving through dust clouds cause dust to settle on top of the vehicle

• Driving behind a vehicle in dirt causes dust to cover the front of the vehicle

• AWD vehicles spray dust at the sides of the vehicle

It all depends on how you drive!

This system is completely tunable, so you can have dust show how you want it to

A few things to know:

• This system can introduce lag
  We have tried to optimize it as much as possible, but lag could still appear

• Each vehicle/configuration will need to be baked before using
  Before a car can get dusty, the mod has to scan it once (takes about a minute or more). This is called baking. After that it remembers the car, and dust builds up as you drive.

• Windows can look slightly different
  The mod swaps the glass for a version that can hold dust, and in bright sun it can look a little different from stock.

• Mods aren't guaranteed compatibility
  We have tried to make mods compatible, but some mods may work, or be very laggy with dust

• Some vehicles may not work
  I haven't tested every single vehicle with the dust system. Some may look broken or not work. Please report any to our discord
