LuxBoost FPS is a performance optimization mod for BeamNG.drive designed to improve framerate while keeping the game playable and visually balanced.

Instead of simply forcing the lowest possible graphics settings, LuxBoost provides multiple performance profiles for different hardware and visual preferences.

From the high-quality Quality+ preset to the aggressive Native Turbo mode, LuxBoost dynamically reduces expensive background effects, reflections, vegetation, shadows, world detail and UI overhead where appropriate.

The goal is simple:

Get the best performance your PC can deliver without unnecessarily destroying the visual quality of the game.

LuxBoost also includes real-time FPS monitoring, CPU/GPU frame-time analysis, automatic benchmarking, bottleneck detection and advanced optimization tools.

The interface can be completely hidden while playing. When hidden, LuxBoost continues running in the background and leaves only a small floating LB button that can be used to reopen the Performance Center.

• Floating Reopen Button – A small LB icon remains available to reopen the interface.

Quality+ V2

Quality+ is designed for players who want extra FPS without making BeamNG look noticeably worse.

It preserves the player's original:

Textures • Mesh Quality • Shaders • Lighting • Anti-Aliasing • Global PostFX Quality

Instead, it reduces less noticeable GPU costs such as distant dynamic reflections, reflection distance and background vegetation density.

Native Turbo

Native Turbo is the strongest recommended optimization mode.

Unlike earlier experimental LuxBoost builds, Native Turbo does not reduce the game resolution, resize the BeamNG window or force fullscreen mode.

All benchmarking is performed at your current display resolution.

It progressively tests more aggressive optimizations for:

LOD • Terrain Detail • Small Object Culling • Shadows • Reflections • Mirrors • Clouds • Lighting • Decals • UI Rendering

LuxBoost then keeps the best measured configuration.

Installation

Place:

LuxBeam_LuxBoostFPS_v1_1_1_TRUE_HIDE_HOTFIX_BeamNG039.zip

inside your BeamNG.drive mods folder.

Usually:

Documents/BeamNG.drive/mods

Do not extract the ZIP unless your BeamNG installation specifically requires it.

If you previously installed an older LuxBoost version, remove or disable it before installing the latest version.

Then restart BeamNG.drive.

How To Use

Add the LuxBoost FPS UI App to your BeamNG UI layout.

Choose one of the main performance profiles:

Quality+ → Smart → Performance → Max FPS

For most systems, I recommend starting with Smart or Performance.

If you want the maximum available performance, open Max FPS and test Native Turbo.

Use Restore Original Settings whenever you want to return to your original graphics configuration.

Press the X button in the LuxBoost interface to hide the Performance Center.

LuxBoost will continue running.

Click the floating LB icon to reopen it.

Primary development/testing version:

BeamNG.drive 0.39.4

Renderer support may vary depending on hardware.

DX11 is currently the primary tested renderer.

Important

Performance improvements depend heavily on:

GPU • CPU • Map • Vehicle • Traffic • Graphics settings • Resolution • Other mods

LuxBoost does not guarantee a specific FPS increase.

Some systems may gain significantly more performance than others.

Aggressive Max FPS modes intentionally reduce some graphics quality in exchange for performance.

Safety

LuxBoost includes restore and recovery systems, but BeamNG graphics modifications can behave differently across hardware configurations.

If something looks incorrect after testing an aggressive profile, use:

Restore Original Settings

and restart BeamNG.drive.
