T-80U Tank Mod – BeamNG.drive

The turret has been fixed and now rotates (F, H), but it cannot elevate or depress. A 4-speed transmission has been added, mimicking the real T-80U. Engine tuned to reach 60 km/h in 4th gear. Transmission is manual: press Q to enable manual shifting, X to shift up, and Z to shift down. Realistic gas turbine engine sounds and gunfire sounds included.

Features:
– 14 configurations
– Animated tracks with rotation and collision
– Rotating turret (F, H); main gun can elevate/depress (T, G)
– Main gun can fire (Y)
– Working machine gun with fire (Home), elevation control (PgUp, PgDn)
– Functional headlights and taillights
– Smoke grenade (End)

Mod drawbacks:
– No PBR textures; textures appear pixelated up close
– Reactive armor panels cannot swing or bend; no rubber textures for them
– Tracks may bend unrealistically and sink slightly into the ground

In version 6.0:
– Major 3D model improvements
– Added decorative elements: cables, PKT machine gun (non-firing)
– New engine cover, fuel tanks, and engine
– Updated gun breech, loading mechanism, and crew seats (no textures yet)
– Model looks more realistic but requires new textures for proper detail visibility
– Original texture is black; choose a different one in car configuration
