Updates
- Updated for 0.39.x
- 0-100 km/h is now timed automatically. Come to a full stop, floor it, and the time is recorded. Stopping, reversing or crashing during the run voids it.
- 100-0 km/h braking distance is measured automatically. Drop below 100 km/h on the brakes and come to a full stop; touching the throttle voids the run.
- Clean Streak: the longest distance driven without a single crash.
- New records: highest jump, longest airtime, lifetime odometer, total time spent drifting, and jumps landed.
- Every record now remembers the map it was set on, shown next to its date.
- Sortable leaderboard: rank by top speed, 0-100, braking, jump, airtime, hardest hit, clean streak, odometer or crashes. Medals for the top three.
- Per-model view: roll every configuration of a car into a single row.
- Compare tab: put any two vehicles side by side across every metric, with the better value highlighted.
- 15 achievements per vehicle. Earned ones light up, the rest stay as goals. They are derived from your stats, so existing records count immediately.
- A notification pops up when you break a record, even with the panel closed. Can be switched off with the POPUPS button.
- The widget adapts to its size: enlarge it and it fills the space with a second row of stats, a live session strip and an odometer / achievements footer.
- Detailed logging for troubleshooting (beamng.log).
- Traffic and AI cars no longer write to your records. Their crashes, speeds and G-forces used to be recorded onto whatever car you were driving, and a vehicle you had just switched away from kept reporting as well.
- Hardest Hit and Max G-Force are realistic again. Both used to be measured frame-to-frame, so they scaled with your frame rate and reached hundreds of G.
- Fewer false crashes: a physics hiccup no longer counts as an impact.
- Taking a screenshot no longer freezes the game for several seconds.
- Props are no longer tracked. Traffic cones, barrels and walking mode used to collect their own records.
- Vehicles that never recorded anything no longer clutter the list.
- The odometer could count a stretch twice when switching between vehicles.
- Fixed the panel becoming unresponsive after opening some tabs: buttons did nothing, the tab underline and the km/h - mph highlight got stuck.
- Fixed an endless stream of "new record" popups while driving. Records that improve continuously are now announced once per drive.
- Dropdown lists were invisible in game, which made the comparison picker unusable. They are now drawn in-game.
Vehicle Records is a small BeamNG.drive app that keeps track of your best results for each vehicle.
Every car and every configuration has its own separate records, allowing for testing different builds, comparing them, or seeing how far they can be pushed.
Features
- Separate records for each vehicle and configuration
- Tracks top speed, jumps, hits, trips, G-force and drift angle
- Counts crashes and rollovers
- Shows current session statistics
- Includes a full list of tracked vehicles
- Supports KM/H and MPH
- Allows exporting records as JSON, TXT and CSV
- Can create clean screenshot reports
- Records can be reset for one vehicle or for all vehicles
Vehicle Records is made for players who enjoy testing cars, making challenges, comparing builds, or simply collecting their best moments in BeamNG.drive.
