Hi there! This is a demo build for a new Automation creation of mine. I do not plan on ever releasing it as a proper BeamNG mod, so I decided to just upload it in its current condition.
First of all, here's the lore behind this unique vehicle:
"The late 2000s were tumultuous times in Romania. The country was preparing for a worldwide economic crisis that would later happen in 2008, and had also severed all ties with former soviet state Archana. In response to this, the Romanian Government asked its new found allies of the European Union to build them a lightweight subsonic aircraft, for protection against their closest territorial enemy. Therefore, European aircraft manufacturer <<DSC Industries>> came with a proposition: develop and build the final product on Romanian soil, so that the <<plane>> was thoroughly checked for any malfunction or quality loss. And so the Artheon 770X was created, an aircraft which can go up to speeds of 770 km/h. While being the slowest of DSC's jet engine lineup, the 770X shares all the same design queues from the other higher-end models."
So, what was the idea behind this?
Well, I created the Artheon 770X's design with the intent to keep it as slim as possible. Since aerodynamics were not a concern, I went with the craziest possible body style I could think of. I nicknamed it "The Moth", because it sort of resembles the Indianmeal moths I keep seeing around my house.
This is more of an experiment than anything else, an aircraft/plane was something that I've always wanted to make in Automation.

Now, what's really interesting is how it works: the 770X is actually just a regular old Automation car at its core, albeit invisible. The tires are massive so the aircraft could at least clear short obstacles. Since it's based on a car, this vehicle does NOT actually fly! Instead, it looks like it hovers over the terrain at a steady height.
Here's the JBeam structure of the 770X:

The chunky tires also give this aircraft the ability to hover on water!
Secondly, now would be a good time to mention that this vehicle benefits from two sources of power:
> primary - jet engine (capable of accelerating up to 495 km/h)
> secondary - JATO liquid fuel thrusters* (capable of max speed)
* in the Controls menu look for the 'Vehicle Specific' tab and you should find a control called 'Toggle JATO'; assign any key you want (I use G) and you'll be good to go!
If you turn on the JATO thrusters while on water, you will successfully transform your 770X into a boat! (a fast one too!) Note that the left/right controls are inverted.

My "plane" going for a swim :)
__________
Here are the known issues of which I know:
> the body shakes a bit when cornering at speeds over 100 km/h
> the wheels wobble a lot and are quite fragile.
These are minor inconveniences though, I just wanted to point them out. Also, I unfortunately cannot fix them without seriously modifying the JBeam files in Blender. They're simply a biproduct of Automation's limitations when it comes to building huge vehicles such as this one.
Lastly, I want to thank each and every one of you that has downloaded my mod, it really means the world to me :D

best automation "car" i have ever seen. just wow.
@otriker thanks :) making this was an absolute pain, because in BeamNG it would violently shake all over the place
