BeamNG.drive Hotfixes: What’s New in Updates 0.35.1–0.35.3?
BeamNG.drive developers did not ignore numerous messages from players after the release of version 0.35 and promptly released three patches. Each update contained important fixes. Below - a full description of all the changes, so you know exactly what became better and more stable.
Hotfix BeamNG.drive v0.35.1: stability and control
The first of the three patches made important adjustments to the game engine. A rare but extremely unpleasant bug was eliminated, when the pop-up radial menu “stuck” and interfered with normal game play. Also, changes were made to the force feedback system - now the steering wheel should respond more stable and predictable, especially on non-standard control configurations.
In addition, the developers have eliminated failures that occurred when creating a cache for loading mods. This should speed up the start of the game with a large number of installed add-ons. Also eliminated another glitch that occurred during texture processing - in some cases it led to an unexpected termination of the session.
BeamNG.drive v0.35.2 hotfix: crash-free start
The second hotfix focused on fixing serious problems when launching the game. For some users the game ended with a critical error STATUS_ENTRYPOINT_NOT_FOUND - now this situation is fixed. Also fixed a glitch in the physics module, which manifested itself when using certain modifications.
We have not forgotten about the audio system. Fixed a bug, because of which the game could suddenly end when working with some sounds. Developers also worked on improving performance when connecting external control devices - in some cases they caused frame drops.
