Ford Comes to FS25 with Plains & Prairies Pack!
GIANTS Software has announced the long-awaited second addition to the Year 1 Season Pass - Plains & Prairies Pack. It is due for release on June 3, 2025.
The main event of the add-on will be the first time presented in the Farming Simulator series machinery from the legendary Ford brand. Players will have access to authentically recreated tractors and farming machines of the American manufacturer with high cross-country ability and powerful engines.
New Era: Ford in Farming Simulator 25

For the first time in the history of the Farming Simulator series, Ford tractors have been officially added to the game. Console owners can be happy, because previously the equipment of this brand was available only on PC and then only through mods. Now two iconic tractors Ford 976 Versatile and Ford 1156 Versatile are available to everyone without exception.
These models are not owned by Ford Motor Company, but are part of the CNH group (together with Case and New Holland). So, there will be no Ford trucks in the game. We are talking exclusively about agricultural machinery.
21 pieces of equipment, 3 new brands

The Plains & Prairies package is 21 new machines and equipment from 9 manufacturers. This includes 3 brand new brands: Ford, GEA and Trout River Industries.
The package includes:
- The legendary Versatile 1080 “Big Roy” tractor - a giant with 600 hp, 8x8 drive and 26 tons of weight.
- The state-of-the-art Fendt Rogator 900 self-propelled sprayer/spreader.
- GEA STR 447 - the largest manure trailer in the history of the series, with working lift axles and a capacity of almost 40,000 liters.
- Trout River Live Bottom Rear Lift (LB-RL) semi-trailer with a unique bottom design.
- New Versatile models, from the heavy DeltaTrack to the more compact Nemesis and its V7 front loader.
Also back in the pack are trusted brands Brandt, Fendt, International, Salford, Väderstad and Versatile, each with new equipment ranging from grain drills to pneumatic sprayers.
Realism and attention to detail
The supplement emphasizes realism. Among the innovations:
- Realistic awnings on trailers that cover crops.
- Working lift axles - especially on heavy equipment like the GEA STR 447.
- Pneumatic fertilizer spreading systems from Fendt and Salford.
- Detailed animations and improved visual effects, especially on powerful machines designed to work on huge American and Canadian fields.

How to get DLC

The add-on is included with the Year 1 Season Pass - if you already have it, the Plains & Prairies Pack will open automatically on June 3. For others, the DLC will be available separately. The price hasn't been revealed yet, but is expected to be in the neighborhood of $7.99. Pre-orders are already available on Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and the official Farming Simulator website.
What's next.
This is the second DLC as part of the Year 1 Season Pass. The NEXAT Pack was previously released, with two more additions ahead. Judging by the teasers, one of them may be related to British locations and Highland cattle breed, and the other - with premium vehicles, possibly from Mercedes-Benz. Either way, the future of Farming Simulator 25 looks promising.
