FS25 Update: Patch 1.8 Drops with New Features
Rumors that Farming Simulator 25 is preparing a major update have been confirmed - patch 1.8 is already in the game. This is a full-fledged expansion of features. The patch adds a lot of innovations and improvements, including machinery, new features and improvements to existing ones.
The main characters of the update are new machines and equipment, which are already waiting for players in the garage:
- Case IH Farmall C Series - a versatile tractor suitable for both basic tasks and front-end equipment.
- Case IH L630 front loader - a great pairing with the Farmall, easily handles loading and transporting materials.
- Claas Arion 570 - new engine package, now with up to 180 horsepower, giving more flexibility in operation.
- Fiat 160-90 DT - the iconic tractor with Italian roots returns to the field, now with two power options: 160 and 180 horsepower.
- GÖWEIL G-1 F125 Kombi baler - a machine that creates and simultaneously packs bales - minimum movement, maximum efficiency.
- HORSCH Finer 6 SL cultivator - a multifunctional tool that turns into a direct seeder when additional equipment is connected.
- New Holland CH7.70 combine is a multi-purpose machine with a powerful engine and the ability to connect different types of cutterbars.
- Harvester New Holland 980CR 8-30 - effective for harvesting corn and sunflower.
- New Holland SuperFlex 25FT cutterbar - universal cutterbar with a width of 7.6 meters, works well with CH7.70.
- The New Holland Varifeed 28FT cutterbar is a larger version at 8.5 meters - ideal for large fields.
- The Pfanzelt DW P 186 forest winch is a reliable helper when working in the forest and can handle up to 8.6 tons of pulling force.
- The in-game store is now searchable - no more endlessly flipping through lists in the hope of finding the right plow.
- The Farmtech Variofex 750 has learned how to spread lime - the expansion of its functionality is a joy.
- The Bredal K105 has been given the option of narrow wheels - which is important for the care of crops without damaging them.
- The function of automatic return of equipment that has left the map has been added - no more “lost” tractors on the horizon.
- The developers also thoroughly went through the bugs, improved optimization and refined stability:
- The video memory management system has been redesigned. The number of dropouts and subloads will be less.
- Adjustments have been made to text, translations, and visual customization of equipment.
- Improved performance on garlic greenhouses. Also eliminated problems with shadows and glare when active dynamic zooming.
- AI assistants have become smarter: their routes, actions and behavior have become more accurate, logical and faster.
- Visibility of autopilot lines is now better - especially noticeable if you use the mode for colorblind people.
- Updated the steering assist system and improved the interface when disconnecting players in multiplayer.
- Fixed bugs with charging electrical equipment when the time scale is low, as well as bugs related to installing mod updates without restarting the game.
- For modders also prepared something: were added security mechanisms that prevent errors when creating nested objects - now working with mods will be more reliable.
Of course, right after the patch is installed, you may experience some slight slowdowns - this is due to recompilation of shaders and adaptation to new conditions, especially for those who use custom graphics settings or modifications. Bear with it for one or two loads and everything will go smoothly from there.
If you've been waiting for a reason to return to the game or start from scratch, here it is. New equipment is already waiting in the parking lot. Precision farming is ready to be implemented. The game is calling.
