Hey,
I just noticed that Giants have shared the minimum and recommended hardware specs for Farming Simulator 25, but unfortunately, they haven't provided specific details about what these specs mean in terms of resolution or graphics settings. They are recommending an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 now, which is a significant step up from the GPU requirements for Farming Simulator 22.
The big question is: What does needing a 2070 actually mean? Are we talking 1080p at medium settings, or could it be 4K at ultra settings? They haven't clarified, and I think it's a bit concerning.
Up to now, Giants has done a great job making sure that older GPUs, like the GTX 1660, could handle high resolutions and max quality settings in their games. However, this big leap in GPU requirements could have a negative impact on players with older hardware who have been enjoying the game series without issues.
Giants really need to provide more detailed information regarding the performance expectations tied to their recommended specs. What does everyone else think about this?
