Firewood Production Mod – Turning Logs Into Profit in FS25!
A new mod from Agroatti allows players to run their own firewood production - processing ordinary wood into a more profitable product. However, the mod is available exclusively for players on PC and Mac. Console versions of Farming Simulator unfortunately do not support the mod.
After installing the mod via ModHub, the object appears in the Factories section. The cost to build it is $46,000. Make sure that there is enough free space around it, as you need it for the log receiving area, the output of finished products and storage space for pallets.
How the production works

The timber has to be transported and loaded at a special entry point. Inside the production facility, the wood is processed according to the following recipe: 67 liters of wood are turned into 100 liters of firewood. All values are stated in liters, despite the conventionality of this unit of measurement for wood.
The production is designed for 384 cycles per month. With sufficient wood stock, up to 38,400 liters of firewood can be produced monthly. However, the total storage capacity for firewood is limited to 15,000 liters. Take this into account as space can run out quickly.
There are 3 modes of operation:
-
Storing - firewood is accumulated in the warehouse and automatically forms bags of 1,500 liters.
-
Selling - firewood is automatically sold every game hour, but with a small commission.
-
Distributing - automatically sends firewood to other productions. However, there are no mods that use firewood as a resource yet, so the function remains irrelevant.
Where to sell firewood

There are no firewood receiving points on the map by default. A separate selling point is added with the mod. Set it manually through the Selling Points menu. After that, you can sell ready bags of firewood manually or with the help of machinery.
At first glance, it seems that converting wood into firewood is a way to increase profits. However, calculations show that given the cost of production ($1,200 per month), the revenue from firewood may not cover the costs, especially if quality wood is processed.
But if you use low-grade wood that is not profitable to sell directly, then the mod allows you to make some money. This is exactly the kind of situation it will be useful for - turning useless wood into a commodity with a price of $743 for 1,000 liters of firewood.
