It’s quite logical that all these tasks require at least a minimal set of agricultural equipment such as tractors, harvesters, trucks, trailers, cultivators, plows, and similar machinery. So the question arises: how and where to buy all this equipment in Farming Simulator 22? That's what we'll try to figure out in this article.

First of all, let's clarify that this guide was created for beginners! It won’t be useful for experienced players as they already know how to buy equipment in the game.

In fact, there is nothing easier than buying agricultural equipment in this game. It only takes a few actions. But since there are many people who have just started playing this wonderful farming simulator and were not familiar with this game series at all before, it can be quite difficult for them to understand the interface on their own. And why waste time on this when you can read a guide and understand how to do things much faster, right? So, without further ado, let's get directly to the instructions. To make it easier and clearer for you to understand the information, we will describe all actions step by step. Let’s go!

How to Buy Equipment in FS 25?

If you are reading this guide, then most likely Farming Simulator 22 is already installed, so we can safely skip this stage.

Step 1. Launch the Game

Launch the game through the desktop shortcut, launcher in the game folder, Steam, or any other method (depending on where you purchased the game).

Step 2. Start a New Career

So, you launched the game. The next step is to start a new career by pressing the corresponding button in the menu. This will open the next menu where you need to select a new save slot. Then choose the starting capital you want to begin the game with. There are three options, which you can see in the screenshot below. Simply put, these are difficulty levels. You can start the game with nothing, with minimal starting capital, or with a significant amount of money and pre-purchased land. In the following steps, select the map and load it, choose which modifications to enable or disable. Create a character and start the game.

Step 3. Go to the Store

So, we have already loaded the new game. Now press the P key on the keyboard to open the in-game store where all the equipment is sold. You can also go to this store through the game menu, which can be opened with the ESC key. Important: keep in mind that it is advisable to find the store on the map right away (the map is in the game menu) and move there. Because all the equipment will appear there after purchase. You can do this on foot or by vehicle. To quickly switch to a vehicle that is already at your disposal, use the TAB key. After you reach the store building in the game, proceed to the next step of the instructions.

Step 4. Select a Category

Great, we moved to the store building and entered it using the P key. Now choose the category of the vehicle you need to buy. All equipment is in specific sections to make it easier and more convenient to find. A tractor can be found in the tractor category, light vehicles in the corresponding category. Simply put, each type of equipment has its own section. Below you can see screenshots for example.

Step 5. Purchase the Equipment

This is the final step of our instructions. Being in the needed section of the store (e.g., "Medium Tractors"), choose the required equipment for purchase. You can do this by double-clicking the left mouse button on the corresponding option, or by selecting the item and pressing the ENTER key. You will enter the customization menu. If the chosen tractor, harvester, or any equipment and agricultural tools have configurations, you can select them here.

For example, you can choose stickers on the cabin, change the engine configuration, change the wheels, and so on. Make the necessary settings and press ENTER to purchase or the corresponding button on the screen.

Confirm your actions.



Done! Congratulations, you have purchased equipment in FS 22. Exit the store with the ESC key. Carefully inspect the surroundings near the store. The purchased equipment will be there.

All actions are similar to those we performed when buying equipment.

Only in this case, after selecting the necessary equipment for purchase, we press the SPACE key instead of ENTER to rent it. Or click on the corresponding item on the screen with the mouse. All that remains is to confirm your actions, and the equipment will appear in the same place where it appears after a regular purchase.
