How to Start Soup Production in FS25
In this article, you will learn how to purchase and place a soup factory, load it with vegetables, start recipes, and get finished products.
The Houton Pantal Soup Factory is not initially available on the map, but this is not a problem — it can be easily installed via the construction menu.
Go to the “Production” section, select the soup factory, and install it in the desired location on the map. The installation cost is 405,000.
After installation, you need to go to the object, click on the wrench and buy the factory to start using it.
If you delete the building immediately, the entire amount will be refunded. But if you exit the menu, then return and repeat the purchase, you will not be able to get a full refund.
How to load vegetables
The factory accepts four types of vegetables: carrots, parsnips, potatoes, and red beets. You can grow them on your own field or purchase them. If you have ready-made vegetables, you will need a vehicle with a trailer to transport them to the factory and unload them in the right place.
When you arrive at the factory, you will see a special platform for unloading raw materials. Drive up carefully, with your wheels directly on the grid. As soon as the unloading command appears, press the key (by default on a PC — I).
The vegetables will be unloaded inside. Repeat the process for the rest of the crops, if any. The total capacity for each type of vegetable is 450,000 liters. This is enough for a long time.
How to start production
After loading the vegetables, you need to start the desired recipe. This is done through the factory management menu. There are three ways to get there:
1. Approach the building and click on the key icon.
2. Open the global menu (Escape), go to the “Production” tab, and select the factory.
3. Via the map — select the building and click “Manage.”
The menu that opens displays the recipes: carrot soup, parsnip soup, potato soup, borscht, and triple soup. To activate any of them, press the start button. After pressing it, you will notice that the status will change to “Working.” Production will start automatically if all the necessary vegetables are available.
Each recipe consumes 300 liters of vegetables and produces 75 liters of soup. In the case of triple soup, you need to take 100 liters of each of the three types of vegetables. This is an important point, especially if resources are limited.
Production menu and operating modes
The menu displays recipes: carrot soup, parsnip soup, potato soup, borscht, and triple soup.
All soups are produced according to the formula 300 liters of vegetables = 75 liters of finished soup. For triple soup, take 100 liters of each of the three types of vegetables. Maximum storage capacity: 450,000 liters of raw materials and 110,000 liters of soup.
Each recipe has its own production rate: the standard is 144 cycles per month, and for triple soup it is 120. The production cycle depends on the number of recipes included: when several are activated simultaneously, the capacity is divided between them.
Finished products and their storage
Pallets with soup appear on the side of the building in a specially marked area. Each pallet contains 2,000 liters of soup.
There are three modes of product output:
- Storage — the product remains inside and appears in the form of pallets.
- Sale — soup is sold automatically every hour, but at a reduced price (losses of up to 40%).
- Distribution — shipment to another production facility, if it supports such products (there are none in the basic version of the game).
Storage is the most profitable mode, as it allows you to control sales and choose the best time.
Moving pallets
To move pallets, you need equipment with a fork lift. This can be a front loader, telescopic loader, forklift, or tractor-based loader. The store has separate categories for selecting equipment.
When choosing a tractor, make sure it has a “front loader” option, otherwise you will not be able to attach pallet forks to it.
Once connected, the forks are controlled with a mouse or controller, depending on the platform.
Sales and economic benefits

Pallets can be sold at the retail outlets listed in the price table. Soup prices vary depending on the season, so it makes sense to stockpile products and sell them during peak season.
Considering that the product does not spoil, this is the best approach. In terms of profit, triple soup gives the maximum return per cycle, but slightly less per month, as it is produced less frequently.
Only one type of soup can be fully produced in one building! When multiple recipes are activated, the work cycles are divided equally between them, so the production cycle for each item slows down. To produce all five soups simultaneously with maximum efficiency, five separate factories are required.
