Everyone who has just started playing Farming Simulator 25 will sooner or later face the question: where to get money? There is never enough money — whether it's buying new equipment, developing a farm, or paying off debts. And here there are both honest and slightly “shady” ways to replenish your budget. The main thing is to understand how the in-game economy works and how to get the most out of the starting conditions.
Selling unused real estate and equipment

On many maps, the starting farm has buildings that serve no functional purpose. The game also provides you with quite a lot of starting agricultural equipment. For example, decorative barns, sheds, unused sheds, or even water points. Equipment includes tractors, harvesters, trailers, and so on.
All of this can be sold through the construction mode. Sometimes, decoration alone can bring in up to 70,000. Of course, before selling a cowshed, make sure there are no animals in it — you need to sell them first.
Even construction that has been left halfway can be dismantled and at least part of the invested funds can be recovered. Clearing the territory of unnecessary buildings is an easy way to free up funds without harming the farm.
Some equipment can also be sold for money. For example, if you have two tractors at your disposal, it makes sense to sell one. Yes, the work will go a little slower, but the freed-up funds will help you turn a profit faster. Keep the more powerful tractor and sell the weaker one. You should do the same with all your other equipment. Not using the harvester trailer? Feel free to sell it. You can earn up to 20,000 in-game currency for your first visit to the store.
Reselling fields - invest and harvest

A field ready for harvesting is not only a chance to get a harvest, but also an opportunity to earn money almost instantly. You buy a plot, harvest the crops, keep all the produce for yourself, and then sell the land at the same price.
Everything you harvest becomes pure profit. But there is a downside — you need equipment to grow and harvest certain crops.
For example, if the field is planted with sorghum and you have a suitable combine harvester, this is the ideal option. This method does not require renting or additional costs — only efficiency and carefulness when choosing a plot.
Credit as a tool for development, not a debt trap

Many people are prejudiced against loans in the game, considering it a kind of admission of defeat. But it is a very powerful tool that allows you to get money when you need it.
Through the financial menu, you can take out a loan in increments of 5,000. The maximum amount depends on the number of assets at your disposal, but on average, you can easily get about half a million.
The interest on the loan is low — about 333 game dollars per day for every hundred thousand. Even a million will cost only three thousand per day.
But don't forget to pay off not only the interest, but also the principal.
Contracts — money on the side

The contract system is another proven way to make money.
Many tasks require minimal effort, especially if you use the client's equipment. For example, packing bales is a task that can be completed in 10 minutes and earn you around 5,000 game currency.
Cultivation also brings good profits. Take a contract with the best equipment, and then use the same equipment to complete two more parallel tasks. You are allowed to take a maximum of three contracts at the same time, and they can be combined.
Fertilizer is also well paid, especially if you use your own spreader. You can rent equipment, but then the profit will be less.
Contract logging is another way to earn money in the game.
However, harvesting is not as easy to earn money from as it used to be — bonuses in the form of crop surpluses have been significantly reduced.
Earning money from silage

Silage harvesting in FS25 brings in good money if you approach it wisely. But it will take a little time and effort.
It requires some initial investment — from 200 to 300 thousand. However, the investment quickly pays off.
Grass, unlike most crops, grows and yields up to three times a year. You will need a mower, a tedder, a baler, and a wrapping machine. All of this can be rented if you don't want to buy it right away. It is better to choose equipment for 150 cm bales, as this is the optimal size for packaging.
After planting the field with grass, you will no longer need a seeder, so if you want to save money, buy the cheapest tool.
Greenhouses and free water - a stable income with minimal costs

Greenhouses are also suitable for making a profit. There are budget options for greenhouses made of tarpaulin. There is practically no difference between them and expensive options, but they cost much less.
To avoid spending money on water, you can create a small rice field nearby and simply take water from there using a small cistern. This is completely legal within the game, and most importantly, it is effective.
If you don't want to build a rice field, no one will stop you from taking water from the river, which is also free.
Lettuce grows well in greenhouses.
It can generate the highest income: up to 7,200 game dollars per month if water is free. Even when production is switched to automatic sales mode, which slightly reduces income, profits remain at a decent level.
Several such greenhouses pay for themselves in six months and bring in money without requiring constant attention.
Passive income - from generators to collectibles

If you want money to come in “automatically,” generators can help.
They can be installed via the construction menu. Even a single solar module will bring in about $600 per month. And if you invest more seriously — for example, in an installation costing $100,000 — your income will increase significantly.
Collectibles have appeared in FS25. They need to be found throughout the map. Each item found can bring in about 10,000. There are 25 such objects in total, which means you can earn up to 250,000 just by exploring the map. They are often hidden near unnecessary buildings that you could demolish.
Small-scale production - slow but steady

If you don't mind waiting for your investments to start paying off, consider small production sites. These are new objects that have appeared in Farming Simulator 25. Take a sawmill, for example.
You can use trees on your land as raw materials. All you need to do is buy a chainsaw for a thousand and a simple winch mechanism that can be easily attached to a tractor. With its help, trees can be dragged directly to the sawmill reception point. Board production starts immediately and turns excess trees into additional income.
The most “cheaty” way - subsidies

Finally, if you just need money and very urgently, then you can resort to an almost legalized cheat.
We are talking about signs with government subsidies that can be placed through the generator menu.
They are free, and the profitability can be set to up to 4 million per month. By placing just a few of these signs, you will receive millions every hour of game time. Of course, this method completely destroys the balance, but in certain cases it can be useful — for example, for testing or training.
