Farming Simulator 25 continues to delight fans with new additions. The next major content is NEXAT Pack, which will be released on March 11. Recently, the developers have presented the first fact sheets, which give a more detailed look at the equipment included in the DLC. In this review we will analyze the information received and discuss interesting details that can change gameplay.

What is included in the NEXAT Pack?

The new DLC features unique farming equipment based on the NEXAT system, an innovative multifunctional farming tool carrier. It is a fully integrated platform that allows you to replace modules and perform all the main stages of field cultivation: sowing, fertilizing, spraying and harvesting.

1. NEXAT Carrier Vehicle - the basis of the system

The centerpiece of the kit is the versatile NEXAT Carrier Vehicle. It is a powerful, multifunctional chassis to which various modules can be attached to turn it into a cultivator, planter, combine harvester or sprayer.

• Power: 1 100 hp.

• Maximum speed: 25 km/h (15 mph)

• Fuel tank capacity: 1,700 liters

• Weight: 24.4 tons

• Transmission: Variable Variator Transmission (CVT)

Although the NEXAT is not particularly fast, its key feature is its ability to use interchangeable modules, making it the most advanced vehicle in the game.

2. Wienhoff Slurry Module - Fertilizer Module

This module is designed for spreading slurry and digestate. Its features:

• Volume: 30,000 liters

• Uses a cultivator-injector for fertilizer application

• Suitable for use with Ever's Agro Toric NX 1400.

This is one of the largest capacity modules in the game, allowing you to cultivate huge areas without frequent refueling.

3. Evers Agro Toric NX 1400 - Cultivator Injector

Works in conjunction with the Wienhoff Slurry module to help inject fertilizer directly into the soil.

• Working width: 14 m

• Type: Injector cultivator

This tool is suitable for professional fertilizer application, combining cultivation and fertilization in one cycle.

4. NEXAT Seed Hopper - seed storage module

The module is designed for storing a large stock of seed to simplify sowing operations.

• Capacity: 20,500 liters

• Used together with Vaderstad Inspire and Vaderstad Tempo

This container makes sowing much more convenient as it holds a huge amount of seed.

5. Vaderstad Carrier INX - disk cultivator

This machine is designed for preparing the soil before sowing.

• Working width: 14 m

• Type: disk cultivator

Works in conjunction with the NEXAT to ensure effective loosening of the soil before planting crops.

6. Vaderstad Inspire INX is a powerful seed drill

This machine is used for sowing cereal crops.

• Working width: 13.5 m

• Type: seeder

Works with the NEXAT Seed Hopper, allowing sowing with a huge seed supply.

7. Vaderstad Tempo NX 27 - row crop planting module

This tool is designed for precision sowing of row crops such as corn and sunflowers.

• Working width: 13.5 m

• Type: precision seeder (planter)

Combines with the NEXAT Seed Hopper to make the planting process more convenient.

8. Einböck Chopstar Max - cultivator for row crops

This tool is used for removing weeds between rows of plants.

Reduces the need for herbicides and improves plant health.

9. Dammann SFP 22056 Profi-Class - powerful sprayer

One of the widest sprayers in the game, designed for fertilizer and herbicide application.

This sprayer allows you to treat huge areas with high precision.

10. NEXAT NEXCO - huge harvesting hopper

This unit is a key element in harvesting with the NEXAT.

• Capacity: 32,500 liters

• Type: grain hopper

This volume makes harvesting as efficient as possible, allowing you to work longer without unloading.

11. Geringhoff Extreme Flex Razor 50T - Grain cutterbar.

Used with the NEXCO module for harvesting wheat, barley, rye and other cereals.

• Working width: 15.2 m

• Type: cutterbar for grain crops

Only works with the NEXAT system, so cannot be used with conventional combines.

12. Geringhoff Patriot Rota Disc 2030B - maize cutterbar

Designed for maize and sunflower harvesting.

• Working width: 15.2 m

• Type: maize cutterbar

Just like the previous cutterbar, only suitable for NEXAT.

Important innovation: the appearance of ruts (tram lines)?

One of the most interesting details seen in the presentation materials is the possible introduction of tram lines in Farming Simulator 25.

On the first screenshots of NEXAT machines we can clearly see parallel lines, which are created by the wheels of the machines. This may mean that:

     1. Rutting will become an important element of gameplay. If crop destruction mode is enabled, NEXAT may automatically leave unplanted areas for vehicles to pass through.

     2. the NEXAT sprayer fits perfectly into the width of the ruts left behind. This increases the accuracy of field cultivation, as the sprayer boom, judging from the screenshots, exactly matches the width of the tracks.

     3. Automatic adjustment of the width of the seeding sections is possible. This prevents the crop from being destroyed during further field work.

Previously the tram lines system has only been used in mods, but if it actually appears in Farming Simulator 25, it will be an important step towards realism.

Additional observations on NEXAT vehicles

The developers have also presented screenshots of a planter working as part of NEXAT. What to note:

The seeding module is placed between the wheels, rather than across the entire width of the machinery. This once again confirms the hypothesis about the possible creation of automatic tramlines.

The cutterbar of the NEXAT is completely identical in width to the wheelbase. The need for manual adjustment of the harvesting lanes will simply disappear.

All NEXAT modules are designed to work in perfect synchronization.

Is the NEXAT Pack worth buying?

If you like innovative solutions and want to try a fully integrated field cultivation system, the NEXAT Pack is definitely a worthwhile purchase.

The main advantages of the DLC:

Enormous power and versatility - one carrier replaces several pieces of equipment at once.

Optimization of work - the ability to switch between different modules without having to buy several tractors.

Unique technologies - potential introduction of tram lines and automated machinery operation.

Disadvantages:

• Low transport speed - only 25 km/h, making travel between fields quite long.

• Large size of equipment - not all maps will be convenient to use such massive units.

• High cost (in the game) - judging by the characteristics, buying NEXAT in the quarry may require serious expenses.

If you have already purchased the Year 1 Season Pass, the NEXAT Pack will be available automatically. Otherwise, it can be purchased separately, supporting the developers.
