Want to succeed in forestry and turn your fields in FS25 into a true goldmine? Then you'll need high-quality, powerful machinery. The folks at Giants Software have once again delighted us with a list of new agricultural equipment and machinery that will be available in Farming Simulator 25.

This time, they showcased several forestry machines, field attachments like a seeder and a mower, as well as two tractors—one from the large tractor category and the other from the small tractor category.

Here’s a brief list of all the equipment covered in today’s review:

Riedler Fahrzeugbau FH16 Rul-HKR — A Powerful Log Transport Truck

Until now, no forestry equipment had been shown. But the situation has changed, because we have been introduced to a new log transporter in FS25. It looks amazing, and its technical characteristics are impressive. For example, the engine power of this “beast” varies from 600 to 780 horsepower. It's designed for carrying heavy loads (since logs are quite heavy), so a powerful engine is essential.

As for other technical characteristics, they are as follows: fuel tank capacity — 755 liters, maximum speed — up to 90 kilometers per hour, truck weight — 15 tons.

The FH16 Rul-HKR is intended for transporting logs. It pairs perfectly with the specialized RUH327 trailer, which we'll discuss a bit further down.

The in-game cost for this transporter is set at $221,000.

Riedler Fahrzeugbau RUH327 — Log Semi-Trailer

An excellent companion for the truck mentioned above. It weighs 4.7 tons and costs only $68,000.

Despite its compact appearance, this semi-trailer can hold a large number of logs. You won't need to make multiple trips to deliver logs to the sale point or production facilities, as they will easily fit into this spacious log transporter.

Claas Xerion 12 — A True Monster Among Tractors

And what about agricultural machinery? The Xerion 12 tractor from Claas is huge, or even gigantic. It has a 585-horsepower engine under the hood, and despite its huge size, this tractor can reach speeds of up to 50 kilometers per hour. Keep in mind that this is its speed on a straight road, while using attachments and working in the fields, the speed will naturally be much lower.

This beast weighs quite a lot — a full 26 tons. The fuel tank capacity is 1,400 liters, which should last a long time.

The price is set at $565,000. This tractor is designed for pulling large agricultural equipment and will be useful if you have many fields. For small and medium fields, a less powerful model would suffice. For example, the one we'll discuss below.

Virtus 135 Rvshift — A Tractor for Small Fields and Farms

An excellent small tractor for various tasks in FS25. It doesn't boast much power, with an engine rated at about 143 horsepower. The fuel tank can hold up to 160 liters of diesel.

The maximum speed is 50 kilometers per hour and the machine weighs 5.5 tons.

This tractor is well suited for various jobs on the farm and in the field. For example, it does a great job with small mowers and cultivators. In addition, it can tow a small trailer for transportation of various bulk materials. In short, it's a versatile tool that will be useful on any farm. Especially considering its cost is just $103,500.

SaMASZ XT 390 Mower

Staying on topic, let me introduce you to the SaMASZ XT 390 mower. It’s an ideal match for the tractor reviewed above, as it has low power requirements — only 100 horsepower — yet offers a wide working width of 3.9 meters.

It weighs just 1.3 tons, and the maximum working speed can reach 22 kilometers per hour.

This tool is perfect for mowing grass or other crops on small plots. Especially considering it costs only $16,500.

Grimme Matrix 1800 — A Seeder for Beets and Canola

A highly specialized seeder for planting beets and canola.

Its technical requirements are manageable, though not the lowest. You'll need machinery with at least 170 horsepower to install this seeder.

On the other hand, it offers decent technical specifications for a price of $81,000. Some might argue that there are cheaper seeders in this segment. They might be right, but if you need a seeder specifically for canola and beets, finding a better option could be challenging.

The working width is 8.1 meters, which is fairly standard for seeders of this type. It weighs 2.8 tons. The seed hopper capacity is 180 liters, and the maximum working speed is 12 kilometers per hour.
