New Update for Farming Simulator 25: Patch 1.7 + Nexat Improvements
Giants Software continue to actively develop Farming Simulator 25, and this time the game received an update with the index 1.7. Together with it, users received a lot of edits, new features, as well as the first major update for the Nexat pack - version 1.1.00. A very rich update, affecting both single-player mode and multiplayer.
What's new and what's changed in patch 1.7

Let's start with the main thing. Update 1.7 adds the Qvil G4010Q Prit iron packer and a special Auto Power coloring for the John Deere 8R tractor. In terms of gameplay, there is now the ability to customize gamepad blind spots right in an active session on the PC, as well as displaying mod information while downloading and updating via ModHub. These are useful improvements that make it easier to interact with content, especially for those who actively use mods.
The technical part of the update inspires respect. The developers have seriously worked on stability and performance: tweaked visual elements, improved synchronization in multiplayer, eliminated bugs affecting the behavior of equipment and correctness of calculations during harvesting. For example, earlier when distorting immature grass you could get a full harvest - now it is fixed. Also removed bugs with the display of animations, collision conflicts when cutting down trees and incorrect operation of trains at stations.
The main changes and innovations of patch 1.7:
- Fixed a visual bug that caused water in the form of foam to glow at night like a neon sign.
- Improved map synchronization speed in multiplayer - now load times are faster.
- Changed behavior of cruise control: it can now be automatically turned off at the end of the GPS route.
- Fixed strange behavior of trains that either didn't stop or “flew” too far away from the station.
- Added an informative icon to the main menu if installed mods have updates.
- Harvesting multiple contracts from the same vault will now prioritize the one with higher overall progress.
- Dead zone settings can be changed directly while playing on PC - without going to the main menu.
- Performance in single-player and multiplayer has been improved - serious optimization under the hood.
- Special praise for the elimination of a bug in which grass gave maximum yield even before full maturity.
- Modified distance display in navigation markers: now it all depends on your custom settings.
- Fixed a bug that could cause a character to get stuck on platforms next to trains or machinery.
- Removed an unnecessary hedge under field 43 on the Hutan Pantai map that was interfering with the creation of rice plots.
- Added information about the size and download progress of mods to the ModHub dialog box.
- Improved appearance of grass clippings at different degrees of rendering (LOD).
- Support for working with fruitTypes for modified maps - expanded possibilities for modders.
- Fixed corn animation behavior on consoles - now everything looks as it should.
- Fixed corn width unsynchronization between sprayers and spreaders in multiplayer.
- Fixed a rare bug where cut trees left “invisible blocks” that interfered with gameplay.
- Updated the economic calculation of grape juice production - the balance has become fairer.
- Fixed the behavior of the cotton harvester, which previously could not unload a partially formed bale.
- Removed the possibility of destroying fences that are part of pastures - this caused failures in area calculations.
- Reworked the behavior of electric machines when recharging.
- Fixed wheel width parameters of John Deere 6R - now everything is accurate.
- Fixed problems when controlling a high-pressure washer, which caused the character to “jump” in the air.
- Updated hand tools in multiplayer - now only up-to-date information is displayed.
- Bugs with manual gearbox and clutch are fixed - it became easier to control the technique.
- Fixed bugs with displaying surplus produced by feeder robots.
- Implemented support for more flexible adjustment of field slope angles without the need for separate shaders.
- Now when fences are removed, the area underneath them is correctly unlocked to accommodate new objects.
- Fixed an issue where it was not possible to transfer all money from a farm in multiplayer.
- Reduced lag of other players when manually saving the game.
- Fixed errors in the names of custom objects on custom maps.
- Added Göweil G4010 Q Profi cutterbar and special eAutoPowr coloring for John Deere 8R Technics became not only more powerful, but also more beautiful.
- The problem with incorrect loading of the gate status after saving has been fixed.
- The behavior of Nexat vehicles in multiplayer has become more stable.
- Fixed crashes that occurred when deleting objects with non-standard water features.
- Fixed a bug that caused the yield on contracts to decrease due to rain, even if you used your own harvester.
Multiplayer also got its own. Reduced lags when manually saving, corrected errors with synchronization of equipment settings, a bug with the inability to transfer all the funds from the farm and even minor visual bugs, like “glowing” foam at night. All this directly affects the comfort and stability in the network game, especially if you play in large teams.
Nexat updated
The Nexat update - the first DLC from the season pass - deserves special attention. Despite mixed reviews on Steam, the 1.1.00 update improved equipment behavior, added a new Magdan FD250 Flex Drapper, improved AI and camera behavior, fixed surface leveling, and even expanded custom cab control settings. Although not everyone liked the universal nature of this machine, but the improvements show the attention to detail on the part of the developers.
As a result of the update, we can say one thing: Farming Simulator 25 continues to strengthen as a platform. The developers aren't just fixing the old, but laying a solid foundation for future features. It's especially nice to see that both gameplay and user-friendliness are being prioritized. So if you haven't checked out the game in a while, it's a good time to come back and experience all these innovations for yourself. And yes, be sure to share your opinion about the patch - player feedback is especially important for developers now.
