NEXAT Pack in Farming Simulator 25 - how does it work?
The NEXAT Pack is just a little bit away from release on March 11. If you have Year 1 Season Pass, the add-on will be unlocked automatically. For the rest there is still an opportunity to pre-order at a discounted price.
The developers shared new details about the NEXAT modular system and conducted an interview with NEXAT representatives. And on March 9 at 18:00 CEST there will be a live broadcast on Twitch and YouTube, where they will show the work of machinery in real conditions of Farming Simulator 25.
NEXAT modular system - complete freedom for the farmer

The main feature of the NEXAT Pack is the universal base chassis, on which you can install various modules depending on the task at hand.
Want to sow?
-
Use the NEXAT Seedhopper + Väderstad Inspire to plant crops accurately and quickly.
Need to harvest?
-
The NEXAT NexCo combined with the Geringhoff XtremeFlex cutterbar can handle large quantities of grain.
Want to reduce time and do several processes at once?
-
Connect a Seedhopper, Väderstad Carrier NX and Väderstad Tempo NX27 to cultivate and sow at the same time.
All machines use an automatic alignment system when modules are connected. Special illuminated lines will help set up the equipment correctly, and will also indicate if a player is trying to attach it on the wrong side or at the wrong angle.
What's next for FS25 players?
Every week the developers reveal new details about NEXAT Pack. The full list of machines and tools will be available by the time of release.
Before the release of the NEXAT Pack, the official Farming Simulator 25 blog featured a text interview with company representatives Carsten Goecke and Jens Willeke. Below you can see what they have to say about the upcoming addition.
Interview
What are the key goals and values of NEXAT, and how do they set the direction in today’s agricultural landscape?
Karsten: NEXAT stands for efficient and future-oriented agriculture, based on efficiency and innovation. Our system enables soil-preserving and resource-efficient operations.
The NEXAT system operates within the Wide-Span Controlled Traffic Farming system, reducing soil compaction by up to 95%, ensuring that the natural soil structure is preserved.
Jens: In a world where agriculture faces increasing demands for sustainable and cost-efficient resource use, NEXAT provides a holistic crop production system as the solution.
What are the most pressing challenges in agriculture, and how does NEXAT address them?
Karsten: Agriculture worldwide faces major challenges. Farmers must produce more food to feed a growing population - at the lowest possible production costs and in the most sustainable way.
At the same time, arable land is shrinking due to soil degradation, while climate change, with extreme weather events like droughts and heavy rainfall, further complicates food production.
Jens: NEXAT addresses these challenges with a holistic system solution using permanent tramlines within the Wide-Span Controlled Traffic system. Our modular system significantly increases efficiency through its large-scale machinery and modular design, reducing the time needed for fieldwork and thus lowering production costs.
At the same time, up to 95% of the field remains untrafficked in the NEXAT system, allowing for the development of a healthy soil structure. This improves water absorption and retention, mitigating the effects of droughts and heavy rainfall. Plants gain better access to nutrients and water. As a result, NEXAT enhances efficiency, conserves resources, and secures sustainable yields.
How does the digital representation of NEXAT machinery in Farming Simulator align with the company’s brand and strategy?
Karsten: Farming Simulator provides a fantastic platform to introduce modern and innovative agricultural technology to a broad audience in an engaging way. Our system represents a new way of farming, which can now also be experienced virtually.
Which aspects of NEXAT’s values and technology do you think resonate most with Farming Simulator players?
Jens: NEXAT expands Farming Simulator 25 with its holistic system solution and various implements, adding a new gameplay dimension. In practical terms, this means high-performance machines with intuitive operation - players will feel the efficiency gains in the fields, making the advantages of NEXAT tangible even for virtual farmers.
Another benefit: The modules are mounted rather than towed, improving maneuverability in the game. The combination of size, efficiency, and ease of use makes NEXAT a real asset for large fields.
Are there fans of the game within the company? How was the internal reaction to the integration of NEXAT machinery into Farming Simulator?
Karsten: "Yes! Bring it on!" Some of our employees are passionate gamers themselves and have been playing Farming Simulator for many years.
Jens: The excitement was enormous when we could finally confirm that NEXAT would be featured in the game. Many couldn’t wait to see and experience "their" machine in the virtual world.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with Farming Simulator fans?
Karsten: We’re absolutely thrilled that NEXAT is finally part of Farming Simulator 25! So many fans have been asking for it, and now there’s an answer to all those social media comments under our posts: “When will it be in FS?”
A huge thank you to the community - your interest and enthusiasm helped make this happen. We can’t wait to see your first experiences with our system! Have fun with NEXAT, experiment with the possibilities, and experience Wide-Span CTF in an entirely new dimension.
