Where to get gold mining mods

Gold mining is not on every map. One of them is a map called Back Country. You can download it on ModLand, or go to the official website realisticgamingcrew.com and download it there.

Download this map and copy it to your Mods folder. We recommend reading the guide - how to install mods in Farming Simulator 25, if you do not know how to do it.

Also for gold mining you will need machinery. It can also be downloaded on ModLand. You will need bulldozers, dump trucks, excavators. So visit the appropriate section on the site to download everything you need.

However, the basic set of the map has the necessary equipment and tools for gold mining.

Other maps, such as Riverbend Timbers, are also suitable, but require additional mods for the correct operation of washing plants. As for the equipment, you choose what to work with - a crawler excavator, front loader or dump truck. The main condition is that the machinery should be able to load the raw materials into the plant and transport the waste. You will also need refueling equipment, as the plant requires diesel to operate.

Preparing to start gold mining

After installing all the mods and creating a world with the map Back Country you need to find the area with Pay Dirt. It is located in the riverbed, it can be difficult to get to it - often you have to manually lay the road with the help of machinery.

Once you get to the desired area, place a washing plant nearby.



Then set up transportation routes and bring fuel. Only after that can you start mining.

Gold mining process

Gold-bearing rock is dug out of the riverbed with the help of an excavator or other machinery. Next, it must be transported to a washing plant that will process the rock into a concentrate. Unless a catwalk is used for the plant, unloading can be difficult, in which case a bucket and loader are handy.

After loading, washing begins, and after a certain amount of processed material, the concentrate appears, which is then transported to the so-called Gold Room.



This module receives the concentrate and converts it into gold cans. Thus, the process consists of three stages: mining, washing, processing.

How to maintain the plants: diesel, waste and productivity

Washing plants do not run indefinitely without maintenance. They require diesel fuel, which needs to be replenished regularly with tankers. In addition, processing produces two types of waste - coarse and fine tailings. They need to be hauled away, otherwise production will stop.

In practice, it is more convenient to use a front loader, as trailers cannot drive under the plant without an additional catwalk.

All production statistics are displayed in the “Productions” menu: here you can track the fuel level, the amount of accumulated waste and the progress of recycling.

Where to sell gold and how much you can earn

Finished gold cans are transported to the point of sale, which is located near the starting area of the map. Despite the logistical difficulties and the need for serious machinery, the income from selling gold pays for all the costs.
