The mission is activated after completing the tasks “Borrowing” and “Requisition”. Franklin receives an invitation from Lamar, who is once again up to something dubious. The plan is to kidnap one of the Ballas gang members, nicknamed Dee, to demand a ransom for him. 

Franklin is skeptical of the idea but agrees to help, especially when Chop, Lamar's Rottweiler, gets involved.

First, you need to get into Lamar's van. Drive to the point on the map where Dee was last seen. It's important to drive carefully here - every collision reduces your chances of “gold”. Careful driving is one of the keys to success.

When you see Dee fleeing on the bike, start chasing immediately.



Keep up the pace and stay behind, avoiding unnecessary risks. A bus will soon interfere with the plot and hit the fugitive.



Dee will get up and rush towards the railroad station. Follow him without losing sight of Chop - now the fun begins.

The fugitive will hide in one of the freight cars. Now it's Chop's turn. The camera switches to the dog.



Use this moment to look around through the eyes of the Rottweiler at least ten seconds, if you want to fulfill one of the conditions for “gold”.

Chop starts to look for Dee, but his attention is distracted by another dog. You can wait until he finishes “important things”, or you can immediately pull him away - the choice is yours. After that, continue searching the wagons.



Dee will soon be found, and Chop will instantly rush at him. All that remains is to grab the fugitive and drag him into the wagon.

Final Mission

On the way back, Lamar makes the classic mistake of calling from his cell phone, which gives away the location. Franklin has no choice but to let Dee go. The plan fails, but there is no quarrel - everything ends in jokes.

Later, Lamar gives Chop to Franklin for foster care, along with the green motorcycle taken from the Vagos. From then on, Chop becomes the player's constant companion.

How to get gold

• For a 100% pass you need to:
• drive the van carefully, avoiding damage,
• use Franklin's ability (time slowdown when driving) for at least 7 seconds,
• look around with Chop's eyes for at least 10 seconds,
• complete the mission without serious damage to health and armor.
