In GTA 5 Online, many types of weapons cost a lot of money. Assault rifles, sniper rifles, grenade launchers, and machine guns can cost you tens of thousands of dollars.

There is a way to get them completely free of charge, without cheats or third-party modifications. Everything is done directly in the game, and the only thing required of you is a little time and knowledge of one trick.

What is the essence of the method

The mechanics of GTA Online are such that weapons picked up in certain modes remain with you after the match is over. We will take advantage of this. The main “donor” is Survival mode.

Step-by-step instructions

   1. Start Survival

Choose any map you like — for example, Rail Yard. The difficulty and type of map don't really matter.

   2. Disable other players

In the session settings before the start, set everything to Closed so that no one accidentally spoils the process. You can play with friends if they agree to your plan.

   3. Wait for the right weapon

Different types of weapons appear on each map in certain rounds. For example, in my case, an AK-47 assault rifle was lying on the ground in the second round. Pick it up and... almost don't shoot.

   5. Lose on purpose

Once you have the weapon, you can simply “blend in” — let your enemies kill your character. You don't need to win in Survival mode; the trick will work even if you lose.

   6. Check the result

After leaving the match and returning to a regular session, you will find that the new weapon remains in your inventory, along with the ammunition.

   7. Final step

Go to the nearest Ammu-Nation. Now the selected weapon is already registered to you, and you don't have to buy it — you can just buy ammunition for it. The weapon will remain with you forever, even after changing sessions.

This method is good because you don't have to buy weapons. If you don't have much money, these instructions will definitely come in handy.
