Description:
Dynamic Summer for Mudrunner features:
- Dynamic Rain generator capable of light showers to heavy storms all rendered in world space drenching vehicles realistically
- Dynamic Wind generator capable of generating heavy gusts and turbulent wind in world space effecting almost everything
- Dynamic Thunder and Lightning generator with moving storm fronts
- Dynamic Mud generator replaces default system for more complex, longer lasting mud and dirt chunks, spray and splashes
- Dynamic Water generator replaces default system for more complex and realistic looking water splashing and effects
- Reworked Mud and Water physics for more challenging realistic gameplay
- Auto Performance system to reduce particle counts for slower machines
This is a very complex weather randomiser, capable of generating anything from a sunny still day to an extremely strong thunderstorm and downpour of biblical proportions with gale force winds.
Storms have a center which slowly moves around and wind comes from this point along with a potential randomised crosswind to spice things up.
Everything from exhaust fumes to leaves to dirt to water particles are affected by the wind along with of course any rain that might be falling.
The Dynamic Mud system is tied into the weather generator so that over time the ground becomes drenched turning what would normally be dirt into mud, and making mud more splashy.
Thanks to new features in ST:M heavy rainfall has an impact on how slippery the terrain will be adding a new level of integration!
Dynamic Mud has also been greatly improved and thanks to the enabled extra graphics in ST:M now produces chunks and blobs of mud and dirt that fall off (or get flung off) the wheel and stick to the terrain. The size and colour and texture depends on how deep it came from in the mud or how much dirt was dislodged.
