Crystal Island – Ginger Island Override

This mod turns Ginger Island into a magical place that looks like it came from a fantasy story. It gives the island a magical and alive feel, making it a place you'll want to visit.

Putting it in place:
– Get the mod
– Put the folder in your Stardew Valley/Mods folder
– You're done! You can now use the mod.

Characteristics:
– Visual overhaul: changes trees, the ground, bushes, music, and more.
– Seasonal Island: an optional feature that updates the island with seasons (note: there is no snow in winter).
– Witches: a new witch cove with new music and visuals replaces pirates.
– Ravens and bats replace parrots (you can change this).
– Crystals and mushrooms are scattered around the island.
– New crops and furniture.
– Witch shops in the cove.
– Statues, messages, and secrets are hidden.

The goal is to make the island into a magical forest that people will want to explore.

Compatibility:
– If you use They Deserve It Too, witches will have portraits
– Works with vanilla Stardew Valley, SVE, Earthy Recolor, and similar mods
– Some map-editing mods may cause conflicts; patches can be added if needed
– Can be installed mid-save

Configurable Options (via Generic Config Mod):
– Change Parrots: replace with ravens, or both ravens and bats (default: ravens)
– Pirates to Witches: replaces pirate cove decor and music with witches
– Crops and Fruits: replaces bananas, pineapples, ginger, and recipes with new crops
– Seasonal Island: toggle seasonal updates or static island
– Leo’s appearance: portrait and sprite edits
– Weeds texture: purple, crystal, or default
– Grass replaces dirt: optional green ground instead of dirt
– Island Farmhouse: update textures and animations
– Portrait style: Vanilla or Nyapu-style
– Witch Shop: adds a witch merchant and broom shop
– Purple Sand: slight purple recolor of sand
– Replace Palm Trees: optional pine trees (requires chopping existing palms or BETAS installed)
– Texture Patch: fixes black squares around textures (especially for Android or Clear Glasses users)
– Animations: option to disable for performance improvements
