Deluxe Journal Continued

What it is

Deluxe Journal Continued is a community fork of MolsonCAD's Deluxe Journal. It has been updated with bug fixes and other improvements. The mod improves the journal in the game by adding tools that make it easier to keep track of daily tasks and notes.

What you need

– 1.6 for Stardew Valley and 4.0 for SMAPI

Putting it in place

– Get the most recent version of SMAPI
– Get this mod from Nexus Mods
– Unzip it into the StardewValley/Mods folder
– Start the game with SMAPI

What it has

Tasks Page: This page has a list of things to do every day. You can mark tasks as done by hand or set them to automatically complete when certain conditions are met.
– Auto-completion works with task names that are "well-formed" and extra information that is relevant (items, villagers, buildings)
– You can fine-tune tasks by clicking the wrench icon or the task name in the task options menu. – Tasks can have renewal periods that are daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or custom. – You can group tasks under headers to keep them organized; by default, grouped tasks share the same color.
– To open the "Add Task" menu, press the Spacebar. – To change the order of tasks, drag and drop them. Completed and inactive tasks are grouped at the end. – The Money Box toggle (G) switches between the total amount to pay/gain and net wealth.

Notes Page: This is a freeform notes section for anything that isn't a task. Changes are saved automatically and stay there for days and game sessions. Editing with a gamepad is not supported.

Overlays Page: This is where you can control all of the overlays on the screen. At the top, there are shared settings for all of the overlays. Each overlay has a visibility toggle, lock, and text color customization. In Edit-Mode, you can move and resize overlays. To exit, press Cancel or ESC. All overlay settings are global and shared across all saves.

This mod gives you a full journal experience, which makes it easier to keep track of your tasks, stay organized, and use in-game overlays for a smoother Stardew Valley playthrough.
