Hina's Drift Club (HDC) - Drift Cars Pack 1.0
Hi everyone, my name's Hina and I'm part of the Ronin Community! I’ve been working on Hina’s Drift Club (HDC), and the first three cars are ready to share: the AE86 Trueno, RX-7 Spirit R and BMW M3 E46 CSL.
These are drift variants based on EVO’s official cars, with their own HDC manufacturer entry and purpose-built setups created from EVO's SDK, these are not conversions.
The philosophy is simple: get in, find your rhythm and enjoy driving on cars that have been kept mechanically and visually reasonable. Start with a complete setup, learn to initiate and hold a slide, and build confidence through transitions. Each car shares a familiar HDC feel while giving you a different personality to explore.
-
AE86 Trueno — the welcoming one. 219 hp, naturally aspirated, five-speed manual. Light, lively and deliberately modest on power, with gearing chosen to help you keep a slide going. The beginner’s starting point, with plenty to enjoy as you improve. Tofu delivery experience optional.
-
RX-7 Spirit R — the boosted troublemaker. Around 330 hp from a turbocharged rotary, with a five-speed manual. More power and weight than the Trueno, more momentum to catch, and boost to keep your right foot involved.
-
BMW M3 CSL — the resident hooligan. Around 375 hp, a naturally aspirated straight-six and the original six-speed SMG paddle shifting. Direct throttle response, a playful rear and a weightier feel, with enough HDC friendliness to keep the fun approachable.
What’s gone into them? Engine response, gearing, steering, suspension, dampers, anti-roll bars and differential behaviour have been tuned together. Each car also has its own Hina’s Drifters tyre model, allowing future refinements to stay specific to that car.
Repeated driving and telemetry reviews at Suzuka East guided the work: throttle initiation, sustained slides, lift-off behaviour, catching transitions and tyre behaviour as temperatures rise. The aim is forgiving, rewarding cars that still leave room for technique to matter.
No cosmetic change has been added and the base customization from each car is available to make them your own.
Choose any or all three car ZIPs; each installs independently.
-
Close EVO and extract the downloaded ZIP.
-
Copy the contents of its mods folder into %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\ACE\mods. Create the folder if needed.
-
Keep the .kspkg intact, directly inside ACE\mods, with the included uiresources folder alongside it. Merge folders and replace matching included files when prompted. Avoid creating ACE\mods\mods.
-
Keep one HDC version of each car installed; move older packages for that car out of the mods folder.
-
Launch EVO, select Hina’s Drift Club, choose your car and load its default setup.
You need EVO and the corresponding official car content. No SDK or other car mod is required. Testing has been wheel-based; use rotation and FFB settings suited to your hardware. The AE86 and RX-7 support manual clutch/H-pattern shifting; the BMW keeps its paddles.
I’d love to hear how they feel! Mention the car, track, wheel and gear when sharing feedback.
Also, let me know which car I should work on next.
See you sideways!
