Assetto Corsa Evo 0.31 Patch: AI, VR, and UI Tweaks in Beta Update
Not so long ago Kunos opened the open beta test of the upcoming update Assetto Corsa Evo 0.3, where a lot of updates are available physics, graphics, audio and added the long-awaited multiplayer.
After some time the developers released a patch for the test version update. In version 0.31 some bugs and bugs were fixed. Perhaps the developers understood that the update would include some bugs, so they decided to run a beta test before release. Anyway, players began to find shortcomings and complain about it to the creators.
Those, in turn, promptly took care of the corrections and released the correction as soon as possible.
Almost all minor fixes, mostly user interface problems. For example, fixed fov slider for VR game mode, fixed localization issues and so on.

Stability and Multiplayer
- Rare outages have been eliminated when connecting to multi-user sessions;
- The list of available servers now shows only unique rooms.
Repetitions and visual effects
- bug with dirt on the tires in the tracks has been eliminated - now they are displayed correctly;
- Eliminated the endless visual effect of pollution when replaying;
- Fixed a glitch that occurred after events SE-01 and SE-03.
Artificial intelligence
- global improvements in the work of AI;
- Fixed bugs that could cause bots to bump into players more often.
Car management
- Caterham Academy has fixed fuel limits;
- fixed incorrect algorithms of ABS operation on a number of cars, including old models;
- minor changes to the BMW M4 GT3 Evo;
- Caterham Academy has been updated.
Camera and control
- configuration of the camera received the version control system;
- Fixed an error when the values of side movements were mixed;
- Reworked the direct input behavior of electronics: ABS and TC/TCC now support more input options, and the restriction for TC when no TCC is removed.
User interface
- Fixed FOV slider for VR mode;
- Penalty windows no longer remain on the screen after fast session restart;
- The pause menu is supplemented with information about the current session;
- in the retry now shows the timer «next session after...».
Additional UI edits:
- The error with missing tag «Academy failure» in relevant events has been corrected;
- fixed a bug in the paint shop, when the selection of discs was not displayed correctly when switching sets of wheels;
- The potential exit from career has been corrected;
- The problem with incorrect display of number of opponents and pit stops when changing mode has been solved;
- Messages about saving a repeat are now displayed correctly;
- inaccuracies in localization (missing spaces, missing elements);
- Fixed a bug showing license stars in the leaderboard.

The full release date of the current Assetto Corsa Evo update is currently unknown. It is also not clear how long beta testing will last. We are waiting for official information on this.
