While Assetto Corsa Evo is in the early access stage, developers have announced a new game called Assetto Corsa Rally. The spin-off release is scheduled for November 13th.

The game was developed by a team from Supernova Games, part of parent company Digital Bros. They are known from projects such as Codemasters, Slightly Mad Studios, so we probably have a good game simulator. However, the team has access to the physical engine Assetto Corsa, so all that we love this game will obviously be present and AC Rally.

On the official Youtube channel Assetto Corsa Official already presented a trailer lasting just over one minute, in which some details of the game were shown.

The game footage in the video is very small, because it’s a promo and its goal is to announce the release of the game. Developers want to keep the intrigue and obviously will show details closer to the launch itself. But for now it becomes obvious that the game must be authentic, dynamic and with its own flavor.

Which cars and tracks will be in the Assetto Corsa Rally?

At the first stage of early access you can expect 10 rally cars of different colors. These will be quite recognizable models in the racing world. These cars will be tested on 4 special race tracks in 18 variants in Alsace and Wales. All this will be complemented by 5 game modes and 33 kilometers of roads.

Laser scanning technology, which has already been successfully applied in the Assetto Corsa Evo, will be used to create cars. Thanks to this innovation, all cars get a very realistic look and have excellent motion physics and injuries.

As for the locations, there are not many places we will see at the start - the gravel road of Wales, the track of Glassa, 2 special sections and about 9 variations of locations for each track.

Graphics and EU5

The graphics component of the game will be implemented on Unreal Engine 5 - a powerful engine that allows you to drive any idea and make a very beautiful picture close to reality.

Team Supernova is going to customize it for the features of the game and bring the graphics quality to the maximum level, so the graphics are likely to impress even the most demanding players.

The fans of Assetto Corsa are demanding visual effects, such as weather changes. AC Rally will disappoint you in this regard, because it will accommodate many beautiful effects, including weather conditions. How it will work is not really clear yet, but if the developers plan to raise the quality of the game, they will certainly try to get the most out of the visual effects, as this is an important aspect of good games.

Three screen and VR support

VR fans are not so many, but their number is growing every year. The creators of Assetto Corsa Rally understand this well and plan to add support for this technology in the game. It is likely that VR support will appear closer to the final version of early access along with other features.

Also confirmed support for three screens in early access. But it will take time to bring all VR capabilities to perfection, so don’t wait for it to come out in the first place.

Multiplayer

Any racing simulator requires a mandatory multiplayer mode. And although playing with artificial intelligence, given the rate of its growth, is also interesting, real rivals are always more interesting. Multiplayer in AC Rally will definitely be available, but as with VR, it will not be included in the initial stages of development. Its launch will be postponed to the middle or end of the early access.

The good news is that early stages will add an online leaderboard, timed asynchronous races and many other exciting opportunities to test your driving skills.

When will the Assetto Corsa Rally be released?

The release date is scheduled for November 13, 2025. The game will cost around $29.99. At the moment the game is already available for adding to the wish list. Recall that the release will be in early access, which means that many features and capabilities of the game will be implemented gradually.
