New AC Evo 0.3.3 Beta Update: What's Changed And What to Expect
The new update of the beta version Assetto Corsa evo 0.3.3 has been released! At the moment version 0.3 is going through a testing phase where developers have opened access to players who bought the game in early access. But the full release is not reported.
In the official Discord channel, Davide Brivio reported the following:
«Please consider this is the release candidate to the public branch, so if things go well these days in this, we are aiming at a release during the week.»
The same post published a log of changes. They looked at different aspects of the game - graphics, physics, interface, gameplay. For example, made small improvements in the steering angle, fixed bugs with hanging page settings, added memory filters list of servers. The improvements are mostly minor. The emphasis is placed on the multiplayer, because this is the function most expected by users in the simulator.

Graphics
- Improved lighting technology in the Chevrolet Camaro, Lamborghini Huracan STO and Toyota GR86.
- LED scripts have been updated for the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 CS and BMW M4 GT3 (brought to the Evo version).
- For the BMW M2 CS, BMW M4 CSL, as well as the Audi RS 3 and RS 6, minor adjustments were made to the dashboard.
Network code and multiplayer
- Fixed a bug that could cause the settings page to hang when changing the game session.
- Added more server-side logins and increased connection timeout.
- Numerous changes have been made to improve the stability of client and server interaction.
- Also fixed an error related to the sound of rival cars.
Gameplay and interface
- The car color editor has been optimized, making it faster and more stable.
- Server list now remembers selected filters and sort.
- Accelerated loading of tiles of models of machines.
- Fixed lobby sorting behavior by number of players - previously changes were not saved after car selection.
- Improved interface navigation, especially on the server lobby page.
- The HUD and MFD now do not switch to isolation mode and do not switch pages when the HUD is hidden.
- If the HUD returns, the isolation mode is activated again when the MFD interactive page is opened.
Physics
Adjustments have been made to the control and technical parameters (turning angle, gearbox ratios, power) for a number of cars:- BMW M3 E30, Mercedes 190E Evo II, Ferrari 296 GTB, Lancia Delta, Lotus Emira, Lotus Exige V6, Audi RS 3, Audi RS 6, BMW M2 CS Racing, Toyota GR86 and Volkswagen Golf 8 GTI.
- In addition, updated tuning restrictions for the Lamborghini Huracan ST Evo2 based on new technical data.
Obviously, the full release is already on the finish line and very soon you should expect a full version of AC EVO 0.3, which has been waiting for so long.
