The 1927 Delage 15S8 mod in the game shows you a classic racing car from the pre-war era where you can experience and drive it. The Delage 15S8 originally manufactured in 1927 is renowned for its classic and iconic look and performance in the racing circuit. The car comes equipped with the 8-cylinder inline engine having an output of approximately 170 horsepower with a top speed of approximately 140 mph and excellent agility that makes the car excellent in corners. The car won the manufacturer's title during its peak period with its high mileage performance at the time and the ergonomic and comfortable design and style. The mod accurately portrays the classic look and feel of the Delage 15S8 from the polished outward look to the raw and mechanical drive. It gives a great experience to get transported back in time and experience the racing experience during the peak period of motor sports. Every detail is carefully crafted to replicate the initial model in the right way and is a great addition to the game for motor vehicle enthusiasts and classic motor sports enthusiasts.

REQUIREMENTS/IMPORTANT NOTES:

CSP is required for the enhanced functionality of the instrument and genuine mirrors. I have not built any extra physics, thus the vehicle should load and operate in vanilla AC, but certain functions will not function. (I tried the vehicle without CSP in vanilla AC and it drives). Tested with CSP versions 0.1.60 and 0.1.73.
Requires Nicecuppatea's Driver 23 driver model. AC will generally substitute an alternative driver model if you don't have it downloaded, but if it doesn't, you may change the ext_config.ini file to swap in another model.
Virtual Reality users: Because of the car's sitting posture, I couldn't locate a view that was suitable for both single-screen and VR. I'm just a VR user, however I know most people use single/triple screens to adjust the driver's eye position in the vehicle.ini is for individual displays. I've included a view.ini file in the extensions folder that may be used to customize the display for VR users. Simply store the file in Assetto Corsa/cfg/cars/delage_158 (or create the folder if required), and the head position will adapt automatically.
